Y/n's POV

I woke up on the grass, to notice my wolf ears and tail were gone, to my delight.

But unfortunately, the family stood over my, covering my in their shadow.

My eyes widened in horror as I scurried backed, only yo be stopped by a tree behind me.

"Uh, hi?" I said, sweated dripping down my face.

"So you're the one who stole our snacks!" Mabel exclaimed.

I gulped. "S-sorry," I said, barely audible.

Was I normally this nervous, no. But right now, I wasn't nervous about them confronting me, I was nervous for the fact they might have saw the fact I'm werewolf.

Ok, that wasn't the only reason I was scared; the guy who had a trench coat a a gun strapped to his belt.

My eyes kept moving to the gun, even though I tried not to bring any attention to it, in case he forgot about it.

The guy noticed were my eyes were pointed, and seemed a bit shocked.

"Wait, you think I'm going to shoot you?" He asked, pointing to the gun.

I reluctantly nodded.

He laughed, along with the rest of the family.

I was considering to make a run for it, but they were surrounding me on all sides.

"We won't shoot you! We aren't insane!" The boy exclaimed.

"Oh, o-ok," I said, feeling relieved.

"But seriously, why did you take our snacks?" The other elderly man asked, narrowing his eyes at me.

Ok, so far, they must have not seen me with my ears and tail.

"I was hungry." I answered simply, for it was the truth, and nothing but the truth!

"Ok dude, but why are you out here, where's you family?" The guy with the question mark on his shirt asked.

My eyes widened.

My family?

My eyes stung with tears threatening to fall.

I bit my lip and looked down so the family wouldn't see me struggling to keep a straight face.

'Don't cry! It doesn't do anything! It won't change the past!' I thought, as the tears gradually went away.

I looked up and sighed.

"I-I don't have one anymore," I said, my voice cracking a bit.

Once again I was fighting against crying.

The family looked at my with concern in their eyes.

"Oh, sorry. We know how you feel. Our parents died a year ago." the boy said. (Sorry, I'm going that way.)

'Wow, but at least you did see them die in front of you,' I thought, my mind drifting to that day seven years ago.

"How old are you? What's your name?" The girl asked me.

"Y/n. I'm 17." I answered.

"Hey, how about you stay with us?" the boy asked, looking at the elderly men.

"Eh, why not? Another person to work at the Mystery Shack!" The man with the fez exclaimed.

"Uh, ok, I guess." I said, not understanding what the 'Mystery Shack' was.

"Oh! Where are our manners!" they girl exclaimed. "My name is Mabel! This Dipper, Stan, Ford, and Soos." She said, pointing to every one.

I got up and shook everyone's hands.

"Come on, let's pack up the camp stuff so we can show you the Mystery Shack!" Soos exclaimed.

After picking up and a trek through the woods, we came across an old wooden cabin label 'Mystery Hack', but you could see a shadow of an 'S', which meant it was called the Mystery Shack.

They led me upstairs to a room which was split in two sides; one with glitter and boy band posters, the other with books.

"Ok, Mabel will let you sleep in her sleeping bag until we get extra mattresses." Stan said.

I nodded. Was I acting very shy? Yes, yes I was. I'm normally shy though so, yeah.

"Wow, kid. Do even talk that much?" Stan asked.

I flushed. "I t-talk, I'm just normally shy." I said, stuttering a bit.

"I know how you feel, I'm also very shy, and awkward," Dipper said, rubbing his arm.

"How 'bout we break the awkward train and play some games?" Mabel suggested.

"Ok, sure. What game?" I asked as Stan and Ford exited the room.

"What about we do some FLCLOP?" Soos asked, pointing to his rubber bracelet.

I was fairly confused, and he seemed to notice, because he decided to put that thought a side.

"Don't worry 'bout it dudette." He said.

"Ok." I answered.

"What about, hide 'n seek?" Dipper suggested.

"Sure!" I said.

"Yep!" Mabel agreed.

"Ok, I'll count first!" Soos said, covering his eyes and counting.

We ran out the room door and down the stairs.

Maybe meeting new people isn't that bad...

A/n: OMG! I just saw some info on the newest ep that hasn't aired yet.

Ok, so I just leanred that Alex Hirsch said that on twitter that Dipper and Mabel Vs The Future is going to be "The biggest change yet".

As much as I'm excited, I'm afraid that the change is going to mean Mabel and Dipper fighting.

What do you think?
