The day went on smoothly and _____ was in love with Soryu. It was official she had a official crush. ____ sat down by Akane at lunch and they chatted. ____ would take quick glances at Soryu and turn back. Soryu caught her gaze once and ____ blushed. She smiled and Soryu grinned. Akane smiled and sipped her Starbucks cappuccino slowly. After lunch she went to her last class of the day. Art class. Mr. Kisaki was too involved with his clay sculpture so everyone was just chatting.
____ usually sat by herself and ate cookies as she waited for class to start. She then started doodling in her book. Catching the attention of a certain boy who watched her. Mr. Kisaki finally got up from the pottery wheel and started class. Only to talk about the dance coming up. Everyone cheered and began talking to each other about dresses,dates and such. _____ being the only one who probably came late to the school didn't have a date. She thought about asking Soryu but she knew he might turn her down. No matter what was between them.
She sighed and sat alone. After class she heard boys asking girls out and squeals and such. Once again _____ sighed and walked to the front door. She was about to open it when she was grabbed and pulled into a room. After her eyes adjusted to the bright lights she was in the theatre room. On the stage. In front of over a dozen kids. Her heart began to race faster and faster. She felt faint until Soryu and Eisuke walked out.
They stood on either side of ____ and smiled. "Soryu has something to say to this lady" was all Eisuke said and walked off. Music began to play and people whistled. Soryu then grabbed her hand and began to sing a song. _____ overwhelmed with emotion listened to the words and smiled. Then realized what he was doing. The song ended and Soryu stood in front of her. "Will you _____ _____ go to the dance with me as my date?" Soryu asked. ____ was breathing normal but her heart felt like it was about to burst. People looking at her and whispering. Soryu looked pleading at her. ____ finally opened her mouth to allow words. "I..."
