I slammed the button for the left door to block out Chica. She was there, watching me, and taking close care to make sure I would run out of power. I gasped as I checked the cameras. Freddy was missing, for some reason Bonnie was still on the stage. I hit the right button in fear, knowing that he could only get in that way.

My eyes scanned the room. It was hard enough to see out of my green rimmed glasses, but I spotted it. A, fairly shiny, old red telephone. I had no idea what it was doing there, but I liked it. I slipped out of my chair and grabbed it. It slipped in between my fingers, as I began to examine the buttons I realized there was a record button. I pressed my finger over it, and before I knew it, I had decided I would record a message for future employees. If there are future employees.

"Hello Hello?" I asked. I hoped it was recording, or the animatronics would think I was an idiot. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe they'll think I'll just die on my own and leave.

I went over and opened Chica's door. She was no longer there, so it must be safe to walk around. "Uh, I wanted to record a message, to help you get settled in, on your first night." I quietly began to pace the office. I opened the right door and sat the middle of the office, getting caught up in my speech more than my death toll.

"Um, I actually worked in the office before you! I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact." I tried to explain my position to the new comer, but it was quite obvious that I would make no sense whatsoever. "So I know it can be a bit overwhelming," I then considered that the boss might be listening to this later, so I changed my tone of thought. "But I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about!"

I ran to the left door and shut it, stretching the cord to it's limits. Chica's face watched me through the window, looking quite confused about what I was doing. "So uh you'll do fine. Let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?" My voice rang through very static, and very frantic.

I suddenly remembered the fear of being murdered by the manager. I grabbed the paper they gave to me when I first started and began to read it. "Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know."

I cleared my throat. My voice was becoming more fierce by the minute. "Um, 'Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza! A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced." My voice cracked at the end and I started to continue.

Anger overtook me as I began to continue my message. ''Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night," I gasped as I remembered Bonnie, who had just appeared in my window. "But do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too."

My mind raced to me as a child, and Foxy being my absolute favorite. I remember listening to him before he went, well, out of order. "So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right?"

I ran over to the door and shut it again. Bonnie had left but Foxy had been running down my hall. I sighed in relief. "Okay."

"So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit." I bit my lip, trying to decide the best way to say this, how to explain this without getting me killed. " Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too."

My mind decided to run back to the red Fox. I slipped my hand over the lights on the left door, which was now open. Nothing there, luckily. I remember how upset I was when I heard Foxy would be out of order, The Bite of '87 I think they call it.

"But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?" I sarcastically commented. I hope that I would make the new night guard feel safe unlike I had.

"Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person." I stated exactly what I was told as I walked in for my first shift, yesterday.

"They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit." I mumbled. I knew they would kill me for this, but I was desperate to get the message out.

What time is it anyway? I looked down at my tablet. 5:00. I can do this! I shut the left door out of fear, noticing I had 30% battery left. "Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area." I carefully avoided the subject of that the suits were possessed.

"So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh.'' I attempted to shake off the fear pulling itself inside me. I knew death would be just around the corner for me. I have to get it on recording, maybe the next guard can help me out.

''Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night." The chimes of freedom rang out as I turned off the phone.

"I'm not here all night." I smiled as I waltzed out of the wretched place, letting sunlight burn my face.

I prefer Kevin. <3
