"WELL THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE, ARE, are... ugh, WHAT THE HELL ARE THE SHElVES F-FOR?!' Guy slur-yells at Joe, " I, uhhh... Ha ha ha! THAT, that's a good, that's a good question. G-Good Gol',I mean, I have no fuckin' clue man!" Joe laughs back incoherently "Y-you know what'd be , the bee's-knees? I mean, it'd be great Guy." Guy drops another shot of vodka down the hatch, lets a tense burp out with a squint " W-what man? If I--I mean w-we got, laid?"Joe laughs as he to drops another shot of the concoction , then whirs his head against the sting of the liquor, before responding " YEAH! That'd be ssssweet...No,no! I--Come here! Shhhhh!" Joe leans towards Guy head pointed at the checkered flooring, Guy imitates then whispers back "W-what Pal?" Joe peeks up at Guy and whispers loudly, "What if--" Joe spins his head around his left shoulder, then right, "--what if, What, What if we went and checked out the 'Room' ?" Joe grins to Guy.

The 'room', was commonly referred between Guy and Joe. The 'room' was a cramped room, heavily armored, and it held a table sized slanted control board against its widest north facing wall, filled with well over 50 button... with one big red one. See where i'm going? Ahead of the control board, is a round window, spanning the majority of the width of that cramped room, behind the window , one can see a Minute-Man ICBM... Only the Chief-Commander of the Base can access the room. Even then , he holds only one of the two keys required to launch the warhead... Nobody knows who the second key holder is, except the Chief-Commander. Printed in Bright bold, piercing letters on the face of the door, holds the text " ONLY HIGH-AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL MAY ENTER THIS ROOM WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY ARMED ESCORT. " Beneath that lays " NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE IS ALLOWED IN THE FOLLOWING ROOM AT ANY TIME WHATSOEVER. VIOLATION OF THIS LAW IS PUNISHABLE BY 800,000-950,000$ PENALTY . "

"Yeah! Yeah! Let's go Joe!" Guy states, tapping his finger on the bar counter as if to display devotion to Joe's idea. "I mean, don't you ever , wonder ?" Joe asks. throwing his coat on as he Whispered to Guy who was doing the same thing " Don't ya just, wonder?" Joe and Guy shifted around out of the bar into Guy's Blue pickup, Joe hoped in shotgun and Guy threw it into gear. They took off for Fort-Casanova, Radio shooting through some Chuck Berry, windows down, the moon bright and high as Joe and Guy cruised on up that bluff. Tossing lane into lane.

Soon enough, they had arrived and let themselves in. Guy and Joe sped down the elevator into the guts of that metal cylinder , the steel door of the elevator pushed open and Joe poked his head into corridor, then pushed out as Guy fumbled his access card out of his coat pocket. Joe and Guy soon approached the Spanning Solid Steel door of the control room. one very, very, very flawed aspect of Fort-Casanovas security, was not large, but one: Guy found out awhile back, that his access card could to also open the control room door. Why? Joe came to believe it was an error in the program that read the cards, and, well, an 'error' , was the largest mistake the world would ever see for a very long time.

"come on Joe, the curiosity ends tonight!" Guy whispers, opening the door as his card passes the slider with a beep, and a blink of a green light. Joe and Guy swept in; As a security unit passed around a nearby corner, missing the drunks sneaking into that room by the knick of a hair. Joe flipped a large handle switch up near the door as the lights in the pitch black room shot on. Lights in the Launch chamber echoed on as well one by one with the slam of a breaker . Guy and Joe looked at one another and realized something : They had made an incredibly stupid move , despite the two key activation, this would cost them their jobs and most likely more money than they could wish to make in a lifetime apart. Joe knew what both of them were thinking , and said " We need, need to leave Guy. " Guy smiled and nodded, and responded " Yes, let's, let's have a drink first, a memory Joe." Joe , was to drunk to really completely disagree, Guy popped the cap off a Beer he bought at the bar, and grabbed a coffee cup full of pencils off a nearby desk, and put the pencils back on the desk.

"I want, w-want the bottle Guy." Joe chuckled. Guy disagreed and talked back " I get the get the bottle, You , You, You get this thing" Guy said as he burped. Guy poured the beer ... but, drowsed off a little and dropped it on the control board, Joe saw it. He and now also Guy could hear the crackling of the liquid seeping through all the cracks of the board, and faint static emitting from inside the complex board of buttons. "... Guy ..." Joe said, standing completely still, as his and Guy's hearts froze in time, eyes, beamed on that table shaped board.

"...What is that..." Joe slowly pointed at a computer terminal beside the board. Text scrawled across the screen in clear blue lettering. "INITALIZ--" Guy was frozen staring at the screen "INITIALIZING AUTOMATED DEFENSE--" before the screen could finish typing, the sounds of hydraulics depressurizing rung through the blast chamber, and the taint of white moon light creeped in. Soon following , syrons rung out, and and the door to the control room swung open " WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD DID YOU JUST DO!?!?" a unknown security guard exploded, running to the board, pushing Joe aside and perching over the panel of now bleeping lights " NO! NO! THIS,THIS BETTER NOT BE HAPPENING ! FUCK!" The guard ran to the other end of the room and snatched a phone off the wall , quickly punching in numbers ,a pause "Hanna! Get the kids up! Something is wrong , uhh, Hanna take the kids into the sub basement and bring enough food for a couple days. I'll come and get you after this gets sorted out -- Hanna ! Hanna I love you! I love you, please, tell the kids I love them! Go! I -- Hanna I have no time just go!" the guard pressed the dial switch, and began typing in another number.

... " Cheif! Are, are you seeing this!? " the guard was noticeably shaking, tears had collected in his eyes. Scientists on sight were running down the corridors, wordless, trembled. "Chief the custodians were in the launch room, uhh, beer was spilled on the board and th--" A flash of light has exploded from the blast chamber, a whooshing roars had awoken, and any other sound was drowned as the launch chamber flooded itself with a blinding white glare.

It was to late.
