Chapter 13

"I want to think about it over the night," pulling away she walks back to her home deeply in thought. The boys sigh and look at each other, "Do not worry about her she will be fine. She needs time to understand. She has never had this many people care about her in this life." Cap cracks his neck and stretches. "It's not only about caring for her that scares her, but her power also... She wants a place where she can be accepted for it and not feared." Luffy stares still after (Name) silently and turns to head back to his ship. Law nods and stands up looking over to Cap, "What is her power?" Cap shakes his head slowly indicating that he will not tell. Kid grunts and stalks back to his ship tired and bored. Ace walks back with Whitebeard to the ship to wait until morning.

Finally home (Name) strips down to her undergarments and lays in the bed thinking about everything. How Luffy's crew was fun and already accepted her, Whitebeard's crew was a huge family that she never had, Law's was interesting and smart plus fun also, Kid's seemed mysterious and hopefully exciting, and Smoker had offered her to the Marines even though he obviously did not know about the government after her. Rolling over to her side she looks out her window sighing, "Maybe it wouldn't be so bad, to finally belong somewhere..." Closing her eyes and taking soft breaths she finally let the day catch up to her and fell asleep.

Peering over the roof top at the scene before them of the group of men and one girl they were right about the information given to them. Looking at each other nodding one left to follow the retreating form of the girl, while the other stayed to watch how the scene will play out. Keeping close to the shadows and quiet as possible the person kept up with the red faced girl, 'Poor thing, she must have been crying hard. She really needs some help, and we need a chance to talk to her.' Noticing that she entered her house to lock the door the person quickly checked for a window. Finding one by her room and sitting close to it in order to hear the shadow waited. 'I wonder if she'll be ok? Maybe it would be best if she joined us, that way she would be safe from the government,' peering in through the window the shadow could hear he final words of the evening, "to finally belong somewhere..." Smiling sadly the shadow opened the the window easily climbing in, and making their way to her still form. Looking down at her, leaning over to pull her blanket on that small body, and finally kissing her cheek whispering,

"I'm sorry that you had to do this alone, but I'm back like I  promised."
