Tracy's POV

"Get away from her!" Nathan said but Evan pushed me behind his back. I covered my bra with my free hand feeling embarrassed, tears streaming down my face and my cheek was burning painfully. Evan started laughing and said: "Not a chance. Get away before anything happens to you." Nathan went towards him and Evan pushed him away with both of his hands and then quickly grabbed me with his right hand so I couldn't get away.

"She is mine. Get away from her or you will get hurt." Evan said threading him.

"I don't care." Nathan said as he forcefully pushed Evan to the wall and yelled: "Tracy, run. Now!"

I quickly opened the door covering my cleavage with one hand and looked back to see Evan punching Nathan in the face. Oh god, I thought to myself, what did I do?

"You're going to be sorry for this!" Evan said to him and walked to me and said with voice that made chills go down my spine: "You got lucky this time, you stupid b*tch." I was looking on the ground, ignoring him. When he saw I won't say anything to him he furiously walked away.

I quickly ran to Nathan whose face was bleeding.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked him, concerned.

"I'm fine, he was drunk enough to miss the nose, are you okay?" he said as he moved my hair away from my cheek to reveal big red spot that was left from a punch. "Oh god, he punched you?" he said and gently caressed my cheek.

"I'm okay." I said fighting back tears that were forming in my eyes. "C'mon let's go and get you cleaned up and put some ice on it." I said. We went towards the entrance.

With one hand I was still holding my dress that Evan tore and as I was seeing drunk people who laughed at me and watched me accusingly, I just wanted to get away as soon as I could. I ran towards my car and when I got there I somehow felt relieved. Then tears started streaming down my face and a million questions was running through my mind. How could I be so stupid? How could I not see what kind of man Evan was? What is wrong with me? I almost collapsed on the floor when I felt two arms grab me.

"No, get away from me!" I said with panic as I thought it was Evan again. "Get away from me!" I said again, trying to fight back.

"Hey, it's just me, Nathan. It's going to be okay. I promise." he said as he hugged me tightly. I couldn't drive home so I asked Nathan to do it. I was really glad that the ride was shorts since I hated the uncomfortable silence. When we arrived we got out of the car and he gave me car keys.

"Uhm..." I said hesitantly, "Would you like to go inside?" He looked at me confused."To get some ice, of course." I quickly added.

"Nah, no need. I'm okay." he said, trying to play it cool. He still had blood on his face and a swelling was forming on one side of his face.

"I can see you're not okay, so come with me." I said and started walking towards the entrance. As we got in I told him to wait for me in the dining room and meanwhile I went to the bathroom to wet towel to clean his face which was red from blood and in the fridge I took the first thing in the freezer that I grabbed.

"Thank you for saving me." I said as I was cleaning his face with wet towel. I could see he was in pain because of the faces he was making when I lightly pressed the towel to get away the blood. "I'm so sorry." I apologized over and over. He took the wet towel and put it on the table and took my hands in his.

"You don't have to be sorry for anything. And I'm glad I saved you." he said. I stared at his eyes and only managed to answer with one small nod.

"I'll go home now." he said and got up.
