Chapter 1

Lesly thought she found the one. Jack thought his past wasn't going to effect his relationship with the girl he wanted to be with his entire life. They were BOTH wrong. "Haley I think Jack is coming over later can you help me clean up and get everything ready?" Lesly shouted down the stairs. "COMING!" Haley yelled. Haley knew that there was something wrong with Jack. Only because Haley and Jack were best friends before he went crazy and had to leave. "Think about it Les." Haley said. "Think about what?" Asked Lesly. Haley laughed. "Jack isn't right for you. He's mentally insane, and he's gonna hurt you." "Would you stop saying that. I know Johnson. He'd never hurt me, and even if he was mentally insane... I'd still love him." Lesly chocked out. "NO! Les you don't understand. He's not the type of mentally insane that you're thinking about." Haley shouted. Lesly looked away and finished cleaning. (2 Hours later) There was a knock at he door. Haley answered it. "Haley." Johnson smiled. "LES!" Haley shouted without even acknowledging Johnson. Lesly ran down the stairs and jumped into Johnson's arms. "I missed you." Lesly whispered into Johnson's ear. "I missed you more baby girl." Johnson smiled. Lesly and Johnson went upstairs and watched some movies when Haley heard a huge BANG! Haley slowly walked up the stairs "Les?" She said quietly. BANG! Haley jumped. "Les!?" She loudly whispered. Haley slowly opened the door to see no one in the room. "LESLY! JACK?" She shouted now afraid there was some one in the house who shouldn't be. Haley walked over to the bathroom. There was a note. 'Hello Haley I see your friends are gone and your all alone. Don't be afraid. It'll only hurt for a little bit.' Haley pulled out her phone and called Lesly. "Lesly there's someone in the house." Haley cried. "Okay, Okay, Haley don't freak out we're coming home right now." Lesly said worried. "Hurry." Haley said quietly. (At the coffee shop where Jack and Lesly were.) "Jack. Haley's in trouble. I need you to drive me to my house RIGHT NOW!" Lesly yelled. " Okay, Lesly calm down people are looking you." Johnson said. "I don't care my best friend might be dead!" Lesly said almost crying. Johnson grabbed Lesly's hand and ran to his car. (Back at Haley and Lesly's house.) "HALEY!" Lesly shouted into the house. Johnson covered her mouth. "Shhhh. If there is someone inside they're gonna here you and run away. Then we wont be able to catch him and throw him in jail." "Right" Lesly said. Lesly made Johnson go into the house first just in case. "Haley?" Johnson whispered. Lesly ran past him and sprinted up the stairs to Haley's bedroom. BANG! Lesly screamed seeing the masked man dying on the ground from a gunshot. "HALEY? LESLY!" Johnson shouted while running up to Haley's room. He ran into the room seeing both girls hugging and Haley crying into Lesly's chest. "Johnson ran over to then and hugged both them close knowing that his girls were okay. (The next day) Johnson stayed the night to make sure the girl's were okay. Especially Haley since she almost died the night before. (Johnson on the phone with Gilinsky) "Bro, you need to be here for her, I know you guys barely know anything about each other but, we all know you like her and she likes you." Johnson quietly yelled at Glilinsky. "One, she would never like me. Two, Lesly doesnt approve of me for Haley because I'm a 'Bad influence'." Gilinksy said with a sad tone in his voice. Johnson laughed. "I know Lesly is my girlfriend but she isn't Haley's mom. Haley can be with anyone she wants." Gilinksy sighed. "Whatever you say. I need the directions to their house though." Johnson gave Gilinksy the address and hung up. Lesly walked down the stairs. "Who was that?" "Jack. He wanted to know if Haley was okay." Johnson stated. Lesly chuckled. "WHY?! Why all of a sudden he gives two shits if she's okay?" Johnson got up and grabbed Lesly's hands. "Hey, it's okay. You can stop being her mom. She's a grown up now." "Ha Ha. I'm just trying to protect my best friend from that asshole." Lesly said. Johnson kissed Lesly's forehead. "He's not an asshole. He was afraid." "SO HE FUCKED THE CHEER CAPTAIN?!" Lesly yelled. Haley walked down the stairs and looked at Lesly. "Don't. He explained what happened. I forgave him. That's that. Haley stated. The door bell rang and Lesly looked at Johnson knowing who was here. "Okay, I'll get it." Haley laughed. Haley opened the door. "Jack?" Haley said almost crying. "Hey." Jack said looking down. Haley slung her arms around his neck. "I missed you." "I missed you more."
