>> Eight and 1/2 Months Pregnant
" Love. Come down dinner is ready." Niall calls to me from the kitchen. It's been 8 1/2 months with the baby. I'm ready to get it out of me.
I have a secret I haven't told Niall. I don't want him to be mad. But I also want it to be a surprise. But I don't know how he'll take it.
"Ok" I shout back to him." I lift myself up from our king sized bed and walk to the kitchen. My belly bump is HUGE. My back hurts because of it.
Niall pulls out a chair for me. I smile at him. I sigh. He looks at me worried. "What's wrong?" I look down at my feet.
"It's about the baby." I say. His eyes grow wide. "What about the baby?" He asks nervously.
I sigh.
Alexis's POV
"Um. Hayden. What are you doing?" I ask nervously. He's been acting weird for the past few days and I'm getting worried. "Nothing. Just don't worry about it." He responds grumpily
I step back. "GUYS. I HAVE TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING" Shepard
Barges into our room. I turn to face him. "What is it little bro?" I say trying to shrug off haydens... moment.
" I met someone." He winks. I laugh in his face. "I don't believe you"
He glares at me. "I did I swear. I can have her come for dinner if you really wanna meet her" He wiggled his eyebrows.
"No shep. I don't want to meet this person you met. Now. Can you please talk to Hayden he's in a mood. I say as I walk downstairs to see Niall and Sophia talking in the kitchen. I'm bored so I decide to eavesdrop.
"Whats wrong?" Niall asks Sophia. She looks down at her shoes nervously.
"It's about the baby" She replies.
Sophia's POV
Niall looks at me with fear written all over his face. "It's not a bad thing. I think." He just stares at me waiting for me to speak. I hold his hands in mine and look him in the eyes. "We are having twins!" I say with little enthusiasm.
A wide grin appears on his face. "What are they going to be." He says with so much love. "A boy and a girl" I smile. He hugs me as lexi walks out. "TWINS?" She shouts and I laugh. "Yep"
He kisses my forehead. "I can't wait to have a little me walking around." He whispers sweetly in my ear.
"Oh great more of you walking around." Lexi says jokingly. He sticks his tongue out at her and looks back at me.
" so. When's the due date?" He asks. I look up at the ceiling thinking.
"Well let's see. I'm 8 and a half months pregnant. So that means I'm due in 2 weeks. "
"OH NO. WE HAVE TO THINK OF NAMES. AND AND. WE HAVE TO SET UP EVERYTHING YOU NEED A BABY SHOWER!" He starts freaking out. I hold his shoulders.
"Hon. It's ok. We just need to get one more of everything we already have." I say calmly.
"Ok. But the baby shower.." He says pacing frantically. "Babe. Hon. It's ok. We got this ok. Let's just take it slow. And tell everyone HERE now."
"Shepard. Hayden. Come down here!" I yell. Shepard races down the stairs and Hayden comes down a few seconds later.
"So I have some good news." I wiggle my eyebrows. They look at me with glittering eyes. Well Shepard does. Hayden just stands there drowsily.
"IM HAVING TWINS!!" I say excitedly. Shepard claps and hugs me. Hayden's eyes look excited but his face doesn't.
"Hayden's what's wrong." I ask slowly. "Nothing. I'm going back upstairs. I'll see you later. I'm not having dinner.." He says with no emotion. He turns around and walks upstairs.
"That was weird." I say awkwardly. "Lexi what's wrong with him.." Niall asks. She shrugs. "I have no idea."
"So. Let's call the rest of the boys!" I say breaking the silence. They all nod and I get out my iPhone.
But right as I find one of the boys numbers Louis barges in the door. "HES GONE!" He shouts with tears rolling down his eyes.
"What. Who's gone?" Harry and Liam run in behind him. "Louis. What's going on." Niall asks. "Zayn. He's gone. My dj Malik is gone." Louis cries. But for real.
Harry hugs him also crying. Liam stands off to the side with his eyes puffy and tears flowing down his cheek. I walk over to him. "Wha- what.. Happened." I asks. He shows me a note and sits down.
It says.
Hey lads. I'm so sorry. But I can't handle this. There's too much hate. I love you all I really do. But I need to leave. So. Have a great career boys. I'll contact you when I'm ready.
"Oh my goodness. That's terrible." I hug him. "You guys should stay for dinner." I say. Everyone nods and I walk into the kitchen.
We ordered pizza because I was totally craving it. "So guys. I actually have something to say." They all look up at me. I take Nialls hand. "We are having twins." I smile.
They all shout their hoorays and congrats. And we all start talking about nothing in particular. Until we hear Shepard scream.
I get up and so does Lexi. We run upstairs and Liam follows. Shepard is on the ground next to Hayden. Hayden is passed out.
"Ohh. Shepard. What. What happened?" Lexi says holding Hayden. "I-I don't know. I walked in he. He was like this."
I grab my phone and call 911. The ambulance comes 5 minutes later and only lets Lexi and Shep go with him.
Niall drives me and the boys to the hospital. We finally get there and rush to the waiting room. Lexi is crying into Shepards shoulder and he is fighting back tears.
"What's wrong. Why was he like that. What happened?" I ask Lexi. "He was on drugs. HE WAS ON FREAKIN DRUGS." She cries. Shepard rubs her back.
I cover my mouth with my hands and sit down next to her. "We are going to wait here a few days until they hopefully release him." Shepard sobs.
"I'll wait with you."
3 days later.
I wake up to see Hayden getting checked out. I stand up about to go hug him. But I feel my water break.
"OH NO." I yell. Niall comes over and holds me. "What- what's wrong."
"IM GOING INTO LABOR. PLEASE. GET ME INTO A ROOM!!"
We rush to the room. "Mrs.. Payne you are a bit early. But this is happening now. Are you ready?" The doctor asks.
"I guess so" I say breathing quickly.
"Well here we go." He rushes me into the room. I am officially in labor
"Push. One last time." I try so hard. But I'm so tired. I'm guessing two is harder than one..
Then. I hear two cries fill the air.
