"All of eternity huh? I'm sure it can't be too bad..."

The girl smiled as she pulled her weary boyfriend around the store, checking herself out in each one, one after the next. She wanted the best one, the one that captured her body perfectly, showing none of her flaws. "Mirrors don't work like that," Her love informed her, but she knew this, and didn't listen. She believed that she could find the perfect one.
Stopping in her tracks, she looked back quickly. There was one that caught her eye. She backtracked and stopped directly in front of a long, fancy mirror.
He sighed, "Here we go again..."
The girl started posing in front of the mirror, looking at herself closely, seeing if the one that caught her eye was indeed the one she's been searching for.
"I already know the process! Pose a few times, see if it portrays your figure perfectly... I didn't know the same type of mirrors could show different reflections. Hmph, as if..."
To the boy's relief, his girlfriend turned to him, smiling and nodding, signaling that she had found the right one. He smiled back, happy to be done with the long tiresome day of shopping.
"Hm, the usual reaction from a couple out shopping, especially if one of them is picky with their choices..." Eren let a small smile reveal itself on his face, trying to make light of his situation.
The girl's lover lifted the chosen mirror and carried it to the checkout, being very cautious on his way. Their cashier congratulated them in getting the last mirror, as this one was the last of its kind in stock. The couple purchased the mirror, loaded it into their car, and drove off home with it.
"This is how it's been for as long as I can remember. I see people look at themselves, talk to themselves, dress and undress right in front of me. They don't suspect a single thing. It's dark and quiet here, a void of silence. No light had been able to pierce the darkness. No one has ever heard or seen me... And no one ever will."
