"Off again I see? I bet it's off to your favorite café!" Eren smiled to himself, "And you always try on different neck accessories before you go out." He put his hand on his hip as he watched the man on the other side check his reflection in the mirror.

The man Eren watched was the new owner of this special mirror, the mirror that Eren had inhabited for oh so long. As short as he was, the man did not take up the whole of the full body mirror. He had raven hair, which was styled into a flowy undercut. The man's dull gray eyes traveled along his body's reflection in the mirror, deciding if the outfit he had chosen was fit for a day out in the cold winter weather.

Out of boredom, Eren started to list out the things he knew about the man. He listed one fact on each of his fingers. "His name is... Levi." One finger pushed into a fist. "He's, er, thirty-four years old, I believe." Another finger. "He loves to wear neck accessories, his favorite is the white cloth he wears around his neck... I have no idea what it's called, but I think it fits him nicely..." Eren stopped. He realized that he didn't know much about the world on the other side of the mirror. He only knew about the things that previous owners had talked about, which was a lot, surprisingly. They talked about a lot in front of the mirror, good times and bad times. The good times, Eren took as an opportunity to find out more about the other side. The bad times, Eren couldn't help but get choked up. He felt for the people, wishing he could help somehow. He only learned what people wanted to say, and he caught on like this.

He locked eyes with the man looking at himself on the other side. The man only kept staring at his reflection, not having any clue as to what was really looking back at him. "His...his favorite drink is tea." A fourth finger. Eren turned around and placed his back against the mirror, sliding down and pulling his knees to his chest. "There are other choices at a café... Coffee... I think that's what it's called. It's...black, right? I've always wanted to know what coffee tastes like...but I can't taste it..." Eren clenched his fists. "...and I never will be able to..." He took a short breath, starting to become choked up. "I'm trapped... This isn't how I wanted to live my life! I didn't ask for this... I didn't..." Tears slowly rolled down his face as he whimpered into the black void. He looked around at the black nothingness that surrounded him, sobbing to himself as he did.. He looked back at the other side of the mirror to find that Levi was gone. Eren sniffled, turned to face the mirror again and placed his hands on it. He kneeled in front of the mirror, balled his hands up and started pounding on it, however it had no effect.

He kept going, pounding hard on the unbreakable glass. "I won't give up! This place... I want to escape!!" Harder, harder...his knuckles started to feel numb, but he kept pushing, pushing to escape the black void he had been trapped in for so long.

The pounding slowed down and stopped. Eren opened his hands and slid them down the mirror, crying to himself. He yelled out in pure agony as he watched his tears hit the black ground.

He suddenly heard the door open, and in came Levi muttering to himself.

"I can't believe they were closed, and today as well, I needed a cup of tea to soothe my nerves." Levi took off his outer wear, his winter jacket and scarf, and hung them up on a coat rack near the front door, which was out of sight from the mirror. He returned within Eren's field of vision and sat on his bed, stripping himself of his shoes and finally relaxing his shoulders. Levi sighed, alone, restless and having no one to talk to, he decided to do the most idiotic thing, in his eyes. He decided to talk to his reflection in the mirror.

He stood up on his bare white socks and walked to the full body mirror, sitting down in front of it.

"So...er..." Levi sat there in awkward silence, staring at himself in the mirror before bringing a hand to his face and sighing. "What the fuck am I doing?"
