BDSM is an acronym "B" stands for bondage "D" stands for dicipline and dominance "S" stands for sadomasochism, submission "M" for masochism.
"B" bondage, bondage is literally or mentally binding someone.
"D" discipline and dominance, discipline is self explanatory. It basically is where the Dom or master disciplines his bottom.
Discipline is also the act of disciplining ones self. It is carried out through whipping, paddling, being put in corners, being verbally chastised, paddling, etc.
Dominance is having power and influence over others.
"S" sadomasochism and submission, sadomasochism is an interaction, especially sexual activity, in which one person enjoys inflicting physical or mental suffering on another person, who derives pleasure from experiencing pain. Submission is giving all power over yourself to your Dom.
"M" masochism, masochism is gratification gained from pain. deprivation, degradation, etc., inflicted or imposed on oneself, either as a result of one's own actions or the actions of others, especially the tendency to seek this form of gratification.
