Beverly's P.O.V
"Go away" I growled. I pushed my legs to go faster. My silky black hair hit my neck with each step I took. My throat felt tight and my arms and legs were filled with goosebumps. What idiot tells us to run while it's cold? Oh right Coach Abigail.
"You're hot when you're mad." Peter laughed and matched my pace.
I rolled my eyes at his comment and focused on running faster. Couch said we had to run across the football field twice and I was almost done with my second lap. I could see Couch talking to Spencer and Henry at the finish line.
Finally I was a couple feet away from the finish line. My heart was beating so fast and all I wanted to do was throw myself on a bed and go to sleep but I reminded myself of how good it would feel when I finally stopped, so I kept going. Henry and Spencer turned their attention to me and started cheering for me, telling me to go faster.
Before I knew it I had crossed the finish line. I bent over and rested my hands on my knees trying to catch my breath. Spencer and Henry lifted me up onto there shoulders and started chanting my name. I laughed when Couch Abigail screamed at them to put me down but they ignored him. A crowd formed behind them including Peter, who's eyes were on me. They walked me all the way back to the girls locker room so I could change. They put me down from there shoulders and gave me kiss on the cheek, giving me cheeky grins they turned around. As I was about turn around a hand grabbed my hand and stopped me. I turned to the owner of the hand and saw a familiar pair of blue eyes.
"What do you want Peter?" I pulled my hand out of his. He loved annoying me, he claimed that ever since he laid eyes on me he was going to make me his. Jackass. Peter was hot. Extremely hot. He had black hair and the gorgeous blue eyes. I felt like I could stare into them all day. He was about 5'10 towering over my 5'2, he was well built and quarterback of the football team. He was gorgeous but his personality killed it.
"Are you going to the party?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and walked into the locker room.
I took a quick shower and threw on my uniform. Tight black jeans and the schools white polo shirt. I showered myself with perfume because I hate smelling bad. While exiting the girls bathroom I heard her voice. There was seriously no escaping this girl every corner you turn she's there, every time you blink she's there. Nobody really likes her, you can't really blame them since she's the devils child. The only people that "like" her, are the people use. Her little sidekicks, they use her for her popularity, money and looks. Since she was a slut guys always came to her for a quickie. The name that belonged to this horrible person is Krista. I can't even say her name without feeling disgusted. The thought of interacting with her put me off; I could take her down, perks of having a violent older brother. But she just gave me a bad vibe, when I fight someone I at least have a good reason but her, no, she will randomly come up to you and fight you.
My thoughts were interrupted by the bell ringing which meant I only have five minutes to get to the other side of the building for my next period. I speed walked through the halls while greeting the familiar faces that I saw. Which were mostly boys, since the best friend slots were already occupied by Blair and Jackelyn I hardly interacted with girls. Girl friends come with a lot of drama and rumors to spread and I already had enough of that with just Blair and Jackelyn. Boys kept it simple, they did't really care for the rumors unless they were about them, they carry you all the time and make jokes about how you're their little sister and they'll always protect you. Some of them are perverted, that is a downside but it's worth it. At least thats my opinion, Jackelyn though thinks differently. She usually only hangs out with girls, the only guy she hangs out with is her boyfriend and sometimes his friends. Sometimes.
Speaking about the happy couple, there they were. Making out against the lockers that nobody got to use because people were storing drugs and weapons in them. Her hands were interlocked behind his neck while his hands were traveling from her back to her waist to her butt. My eyes widened when he gave it a squeeze. They certainly weren't ashmed of their PDA. I walked a little closer to them and noticed they were using tongue too, they looked like they were devoting each other. And to top it all off, they were moaning and sighing.
"Do we have to go threw this everyday?" I said to them as I pulled them away from each other. "Ethan your hand can not go any lower than her waist. Jackelyn you have classes to go to. Can't you guys do this later." I groaned and rolled my eyes.
"Always the cockblock Beverly." Ethan smiled at me before walking away. Blair and I weren't always on good terms with Ethan. The only reason we really put up with him is because he's Jackelyn's boyfriend, she knew we didn't like each other but still she dated him.
"You know, if it wasn't for me and Blair I'm sure you wouldn't graduate high school and you would be pregnant." I grabbed her arm and yanked her towards me so she would start walking she made a pouty face as she muttered I know.
I made sure to drag her all the way to her class so I knew she wouldn't skip. She tends to do that a lot, either she lies to me and tells me she's going to class when she's actually skipping. I wouldn't be so mad at her if we had been in middle school or in freshman or sophomore year but it was senior. This was no year to be playing around. People have been starting to send their applications for colleges and not every college will accept you and no matter how many times Blair and I try to explain this to Jackelyn she won't listen. She doesn't understand that we won't always be there to guide her.
The second Jackelyn walked into the class room, whining may I add, the stupid bell rang. Which left me looking like a freshman on the first day of school, running threw the halls to get to there class because they couldn't find it.
The first thing the teacher said when I walked through the door was, "do you have a pass?" He didn't even have to look at me to know it was me.
"No but-" he cut me off immediately.
"No butts. You were late with out a pass, thats going in your report card. That's not going to look to nice when you start asking for college and job interviews."
I groaned and rolled my eyes as I walked to my seat. I threw my bag in my seat and plopped down afterwards. Letting out a sigh I pulled out my binder.
"Oh and she has an attitude. Colleges will love that." The teacher continued. I could honestly kill the guy right now. Today is not my day. And to put the cherry on top of the ice cream (the crappy ice cream) I have Peter for three of my other classes. Again I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh.
