Liam: In the middle of the night, there isn’t a filter on either of your mouths. Your sleepy, foggy brains completely take over. The questions are whispered and slightly slurred, but you know that these have the most meaning. “Can you imagine our wedding? How pretty you’re gonna look?” He barely mumbles with closed, tired eyes. You nod your head slowly, smiling at the thought of being married to Liam. He kisses your lips fervidly, tasting your minty breath and then travels to your nose, pecking it lightly before ending at your forehead, lingering there until he knows you’ve fully drifted off.
Louis: “Imagine if she were still here, babe.” Louis says quietly, before gaining more strength and adding, “I think she would’ve been just like you.” You nod and sit on the perfectly green grass, leaning your head on Louis’ shoulder. “I like to think she would have been more like you. Didn’t you hear those comments she would make when she didn’t get what she wanted?” You ask him, laughing at what came to the top of your mind. A sudden sadness overtook everything you saw and every single thing could think of. “I want her here with me.” You beg Louis, wishing with everything you had that your daughter could still be with you. After never-ending minutes of silence and tears, you take another look at the gray grave-stone of your beautiful 3 year old, and stand up, taking Louis warm, sure hand into your own.
Harry: “I don’t think I can do this. I really don’t. I need to go.” An insane looking Harry states, his eyes wide and face paler than you’ve ever seen before. “Relax, baby. Relax.” You say softly, rubbing his heaving back. Tonight One Direction were performing at Madison Square Garden for the first time, and you couldn’t remember a time that Harry had ever been so nervous. “Boys, come on. Show time.” A mousy security guard orders, forcing your time with your incredibly scared boyfriend to be cut short. The security guard hastily ushered the boys to the stage and you’re left hoping profusely that he will be okay. An hour and a half later, 5 happy, buzzing boys walk off that once scary stage. Harry runs to you and kisses you hard, taking you completely by surprise. “Imagine if I hadn’t gone out there tonight. Thank God you were here.” He talks quickly and excitedly, something he always does when he’s incredibly happy.
Zayn: You crank the fancy radio up on his new car and sing as loudly and terribly as you can to the god awful song being played. Zayn loves when you do this. In fact, he loves everything you do. He is completely and irrevocably infatuated with what you do, what you say, and how you act. When you hear the loud honks to the right of you, you signal to Zayn that in a matter of seconds, his car will be smashed and he won’t be fixable either. He immediately swerves to the right and off the road. The car just barely stops before a massive tree. You sit there for a few uneasy seconds before looking at your boyfriend. “Are you okay? Imagine if that car would’ve hit us! Imagine if I lost you! I can’t, I can’t…” Zayn says, unable to catch his labored breath.
Niall: “Imagine if we had a kid.” He says absently, watching Lou play with her happy toddler. “He’d be the cutest baby in the world.” You answer to his question that you weren’t even really sure required an answer. Niall turns your body around so that you’re facing him. He loops his rough, calloused fingers in your belt loops and pulls you as close as possible before kissing you softly, but desperately. You’re completely lost in the daze that Niall puts you in, making your knees go weak and your heart beat to unhealthy rates. “Stop being so damn cute.” Lou yells to you, picking the wobbly toddler up and resting her on her hip. Still connected by the lips, out of the corner of your eye you see Niall lift his hand up and give Lou the finger. He eventually puts his hand back down and you can feel him smile into your lips, but it doesn’t feel weird, because you’re smiling too.
