~ Chapter Eight; The Olympian Coven ~

Rosemary had fallen asleep in the back seat of Demetri's car.
He couldn't help but glance back at her every now and then, enjoying the cute look on her face as a drip of drool slipped from the corner of her slightly open mouth. They'd be at the Cullen's house in a few minutes, and Demetri was really reluctant to just let Rosemary go just like that. He was so used to having her around him because of the past ten years of being around her, it was going to be impossible to let her go. And, a few minutes later, they'd arrived at the Cullen's house.
Seven vampires with gold eyes stepped out from the house, and smile nicely in the direction of the car.
The snow covered the ground of Alaska, the location of Cullen's at this point. Rosemary had awoken as soon as the car stopped moving, and the engine turned off. Her color changing eyes looked over to Demetri, who stared back at her sadly. His cold, unbeating heart was already stinging in pain. The thought of not knowing how long it would be before he got to see Rosemary again scared him. The thought of not being there to watch her grow scared him even more. And what scared him even more;
The thought of him dying, and Rosemary was turned into a vampire, and finding a new mate. It may have been greedy, but Demetri wanted Rosemary for himself.
"When will I see you again?" Rosemary asked, her voice cracking a little bit and tears blurred her vision, but she didn't dare let those tears fall.
"I don't know, Rose." Demetri replied. "Promise me something."
"What?"
"Don't grow up. Not until I come back."
"Do you promise you will come back, Demi?"
Demetri didn't know what to say. He didn't want to get her hopes up. He managed a small smile, "How about we go get you settled in with the Cullen's, Rose?"
Rosemary was smart enough to know that he was just trying to change the subject so he wouldn't have to answer. But, she went along with it. Demetri stepped out of the car, and helped Rosemary out of the back of the car, and when she did so, she ran straight to Carlisle and Esme with her arms spread wide. After a few moments of struggling to run in the snow, Rosemary finally managed to reach the chuckling and giggling Cullen's, and gave them each a hug.
Demetri soon appeared behind her, with her suitcases and bags, Emmett, Jasper, and Edward stepped forward and grabbed them. The 1800 year old vampire knelt down to look Rosemary in the eyes. He kissed her forehead.
"See you later, Little Rose." He said.
"You too, old man." Rosemary replied, and a few of the Cullen's heard, and laughed.
He looked at her sadly one more time, before planting another kiss on her forehead, and walking back to his car. A few minutes later, Demetri had pulled out of the drive way, and disappeared behind the mountains. Sadness took over Rosemary's body, immediately. Who was she going to play with when everyone else was busy?
A wave of happiness washed over her, and Rosemary smiled at Jasper, which he returned a small one.
"Come, Rosemary." Esme smiled. "You should meet our cousins."

My friends don't walk they run,
Skinny dip in rabbit holes for fun,
Popping, popping balloons with guns, getting high of helium
We paint white roses red,
Each shade from, a different person's head
A dream, dream is a killer,
Getting drunk with the blue caterpillar
