Evening came, and max had shown up to eden's house. He drove her to a fancy resteraunt across town, but the car ride for some reason was extremely awkward. Eden, trying to start a conversation said, "so, how was your, um, day at school?" There was a long pause. "Fine, and your's?" More silence came upon them. "Okay, I guess. I mean, it's all good now cause I'm with you!" Eden replied in an attempt to cheer him up. Seeing her attempt fail, she decided to no longer speak for the remainder of the way there.
