Back to school

The next day I went back to school. Nothing really big happened. Girls gossiped. A few Teachers had subs. Kids got sent out of class.
I met Lexi and some other girls at lunch.

"Hey Lex."

"Hey. hEY!!! WhAt! Are you okay?"

I laughed. "Um, I think I'm alright."
"Well you're alive and that's good." A new girl appeared.

"Yeah haha."

"I'm Mya."

"Daniela." I smiled.

"Hey have we met before? You look kinda familiar."

"Hm.. I.. Don't think so."

"Oh. I could've sworn I've seen you somewhere."

"You might have. It's a small world." We laughed.

"Oh I think I know where you've seen Daniela." Said Leanne.

"Where?"

"Hayes Grier's twitter account."

The girls gasped.

"You know Hayes?!" Someone I couldn't really see asked.

"Well duh he's kinda famous."

"Well yeah, but you know, personally?"

"OH. Yeah we met on my first day here and then we hung out yesterday."

"Nuh-uh!" Claire did not want to believe me.

"Oh my god Claire she's telling the truth." Leanne held up her phone that showed hayes's twitter feed for everyone to see. And there I was, in two pictures. Smiling from ear to ear.

"Ooh let's see what he wrote for the caption!"

"Oh Leanne I don't really think we should its not that impo-"

"What can I do to make you smile?"
She cut me off. Rude potato.

"Ooooooohhh!!! Sounds like he cares about you."
"Wait there's one more. 'Ugh she's so boring!' "
"... Maybe not." Said Claire.

"You guys, it's really fine he was just joking. We had a great time, or at least, I did."
"I'm glad,"
Just then I felt a pair of hands and a (fat) head (jk) rest on my shoulder.

"Hayes." I smiled.

"Kid, you guessed it!" (Pls Excuse the terrible joke)

"I seeeee!!" I said as I spun around to look at his face.
"Hey you!"

"Hi."

"Hey what're you doing toda-"

RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGG ASFDHFKGLDJAJM sorry. That was the bell Ok OK BACK TO THE STORY.

"Can I walk you to class?"

"Alright."

"So.. Um, what're you doing later this afternoon?"

"Like After school?" He nodded. I shrugged. "YouTube." He laughed.

"Well um, a few friends and I are going to the In-n-Out by the mission valley mall. Wanna come?"

"Oh uh.. I don't know.. I don't really know that many people."

"That's fine. It's just a couple of guys hanging out. And maybe you. If you decide to come with."

I groaned.

"Oh c'mon! It'll be fun! Here, look at it this way- this'll give you a way to make some friends, meet new people. And if you don't like it, I'll take you strait home. Sound good?"

"Mmmm.. I don't wanna."

"PUHHLEEEEEAAASSEEEE???????"

"Ugh, fine. But if anything bad happens, I'm blaming you."

"Yes!! This is great. Mmkay. Gotta run. Mr. Cabrera is really strict with tardiness." He wrapped his arms around me and ran off. "You won't regret this!!" He yelled looking back. I shook my head. As I entered my next class, this girl bumped into me and dropped her books.

"Oops I'm so so-"
"Ugh watch where you're going, new girl. You almost RUINED my outfit! And this, is designer clothing." She looked me up and down. Something you obviously wouldn't have." She scoffed and sashayed away.

ZAAAYUMM BETCH SOMEONE'S ON THEIR PERIOD I thought as I sat next to Leanne.

"Aaaaaaaand that's Ashley. She's so rude oh my god I hate her."

"I think I'm starting to."

"I'd just stay away from her."

"Good idea."
The whole day there was one subject on my mind: Hayes. I don't even know why! I mean, he just taking me to a fast-food place. To hang out. With other people. With Guys.. Okay maybe I'm a little TOO nervous. But it's gonna be fine... Right?
