Prologue:
POV: Amber
I found myself walking slowly on the over grown path as I struggled to breath. My vision was blurring, dirt smudged across my face. My wolf tail painted in fire red blood. Coughing a couple times I looked up at the stars only to see no stars.
'What kind of place has no stars,' I said in pure fear. I hugged myself trying to keep out the cold of the night. But then I slowly realized there was no cold. I realized I couldn't feel anything. Not the blood on my tail and not the dirt of my face. Not even the cold, not even my fear.
I stopped walking I stared at the ground. No emotions, no feelings... This was a whole bunch of nothing... The only thing that was working was my eyes. 'This must be a dream then,' I thought to myself as I looked back ahead.
Suddenly I gasped. That hadn't been there the last time I looked down the path. A pile of bones sat in my path. No it had to be a mountain. Two fire pits stood in front of what looked like a stair way.
And as if my feet had a minds of their own, I started to walk towards the stair case and then up it. Bones were everywhere. Skulls lined the side of the stair case some even with eyes in them. I hugged myself again looking at all this.
'Okay this isn't a dream its more of a nightmare now,' I thought to myself as I kept climbing. Suddenly at last I could see the top. It was a throne! I stopped in my tracks about 10 feet from the throne that, if you were wondering, was made of bones.
Some one was sitting on the throne. His legs crossed and smiling from ear to ear. I took a step back in shock but then stepped back not wanting to seem weak. "Hello my dear," he purred as I stuck my tongue out in disgust.
"Don't call me that you-you-you....," I snarled but couldn't finish my sentence. He smiled again and I looked at what he was wearing. He had long black dress pants on and was wearing a green dress shirt and of course had a crown made of bones on.
"I... I didn't take you for a fancy pants you ass," I told him growling. He laughed at me and it made me more and more angry. "Oh my dear Amber I could have sworn you loved me~," he smirked.
I walked over and gave him a good slap across the face. He looked surprised and I was pleased to see blood dripping down his noise. "After what you did I'm starting to second guess that, Shadow," I told him.
He did save all of us before, but he's done so much damage in the process. First Sora, then Claw, and then Jack. But....
I stared at him trying to get some comfort. " Oh Amber my dear~. You still like me and you know it," he said as he reached his hand out to me. His smile seemed to grow even more by the second. "So I must propose~, Will you marry me?," he asked.
I looked at the ring my heart pounding which made me realized my sense of feelings was coming back. I stared at it not sure what I should do. "Dear Amber, why do you take so long. I am willing to share all this POWER with you," he told me.
I looked at him and suddenly my eyes burned with hatred. "If all you care about it power, then go to hell," I snarled and started to run down the bone hill. I ran so fast I felt as if I was flying. My eyes closed trying to hold back any tears that maybe coming out.
I opened up for only a second to see Dark at the end of the bone hill crying. "I'm sorry Jack! Don't want power," I heard her say in between coughs. 'What?,' I thought. Suddenly I saw light coming in.
I was waking up....
