Chapter 2 Meeting the Cullens

Addison POV

It was early in the morning. I had just woken up from my mental sleep. Well since vampires can't sleep I mentally sleep thinking things over. After I sat up and stretched I got up off the forest floor and started to walk, it wasn't a perfect walk but it was pretty good. I started to focus getting ready to hunt. I had cleared my mind completely and looked for my pray. I had drained 4 bunnies and I was full. I started to walk to a strange house for some odd reason. Then I heard some growling and then I saw people run towards to me. Startled, I didn't know what to do. I looked at them with wide eyes in fear. All of a sudden a ring of fire circled around me. I screamed in fear thinking that was my only hope. I couldn't help myself from dry sobbing as they walked toward me growling. Then a girl with brown long hair walked toward me growling. I looked at her in fear. As she looked at me she saw the fear in my eyes.

"You didn't want this did you?" She asked me. I shook my head quickly scared.

"How old are you?" She asked me curious.

"Dhree" I said trying my hardest to say three.

She asked, "Do you have any parents?" I shook my head no wanting parents badly. She then made the ring of from disappear around us.

"Would you like any of us to be your parents?" She asked me pointing to 2 other couples then she pointed to herself. I nodded.

"Tlease?" I asked saying my best please. She nodded.

"Go ahead and pick." She said. I walked to each couple and looked up at each of them. They look down at me and smiled warmly. I had 2 couples that I really liked. I sat on the ground thinking very hard on who should be my mommy and daddy. While I was thinking I was biting my bottom lip nervously. I already loved them and I don't want to hurt any of them. Everyone looked at me waiting for a answer. I looked at them nervous not knowing my answer yet. Then the bronze hair boy came over to me. He crouched down to my height.

"Addison we wouldn't be mad or hurt at who you pick to be your parents." He whispered to me. I looked at him nervous.

"Ut I ont onw oo roo ick." (But I don't know who to pick) I told him.

He said, "Well who are deciding between?" I pointed to the couple with blonde and brown hair (Esme and Carlisle) then the couple with dark brown and dirty blonde hair (Alice and Jasper). He smiled and rubbed my back gentle.

"You don't have to pick just yet you know?' He said looking down at me. I looked at him in shock.

"How about each mommy and daddy could pretend to be your mommy and daddy for a week. Then when each mommy and daddy have gone you can choose okay?" He told me. I smiled and nodded.

"Otay!" I said. He chuckled. Then the blonde hair lady (Rosalie) came over to us.

"Edward can Emmett and I be her parent for the first week?" She asked him. He nodded.

"But first we will finish the week since it's Saturday then you can have her for the week okay?" He asked her. She nodded. I smiled happy but my thoughts were going wild.
