"Ace?" I heard as  foot steps got closer to me. I looked down on my Vans, and started to draw on the bright yellow surface. When I sat down on roof top of the hotel were staying at, I found a pen. A black pen, with the hotel's logo on it. So, I started to draw on my right shoe. I'm just writing stuff, drawing dragons and dinosaurs, and writing down memories on my shoe with the black pen.

I didn't look up at the person; I already know who it is, anyways. The only person that really does care about me.

"You didn't have to come looking for me, Connor." I said, as I wrote 'Say you're Just A Friend' on the right side of my shoe. "Well, everyone was worried. Kian said he regretted slapping you after he did that." Connor said, as I felt him sit beside me. "Then why did he do it?" I whispered, as one tear drop fell down on my shoe.

"I know why. Maybe he thought you were going to freak out on him." Connor said, as I drew a small cloud on the lace of my shoe. "What else was I going to do? He missed the main stage." I told him, not looking at him. He sighed, "It took us awhile to make him calm down."

"Two hours? I can believe that,"  I said, as I lifted the pen off my shoe. Yeah, I've been sitting out on the roof top for over two hours. I thought the boy's would come and find me after I ran out of the expo hall, but they never did. I thought they would find me hours ago- Sam would find me first to.

Me and Sam always hang out on roof tops. When ever we travel, or if were just at home, we always go on the roof. So, knowing that, I thought Sam would find me first.

But, I was wrong.

Connor stayed silent, as I wrote the VidCon logo with 2013 after it. "Connor?" I said, looking up to him. Connor was looking at me, as I turned pink. "Huh?" Connor said, tilting his head to the right. "Sign my shoe."

"What?" Connor laughed, as I held out the pen for him to grab. "Sign. My. Shoe?" I said, as he laughed and took the pen from my finger tips. "Why do you want me to ruin your Vans?" he asked, raising his eyebrows at me. "There already ruined. I had these pair for awhile." I said, as he grabbed my left foot, and placed it on his leg.

I watched as he signed his name on my shoe; upside down so I could read it when ever I look down. I smiled, when ever I'm having a bad day, I can look down at my shoe and think of how me and Connor sat on the roof top. He went over his name two times, Connor Franta.

"Hey, Ace?" He asked, looking back up to me. "Yeah?" I responded, taking the pen away form his hand. "Is it true that you never had a boyfriend?" He asked, looking me in the eye. I nodded, avoiding eye contact.  "Never had a boyfriend, never when on a date, never had my first kiss- besides if you count Sam pushing you into me, then I had my first kiss." I said, laughing at the last part.

"So I guess you never had-"

"DUDE! No crap, Sherlock."

"Well I didn't know if you might of gotten r-"

"DUDE, Connor! Dragon the sloth did NOT come to my house in the middle of the night!!" I said, making him laugh. I looked back up to him, and he was smiling and laughing. I smiled; just the site of Connor laughing -or smiling-, makes me smile. "I think this is the first time you smiled since the fight." Connor said, smiling at me.

"It's the first time anyone made me smile in two hours," I said back. His smile got bigger, so did mine. We just sat there for a couple of minutes: just smiling and staring at each other, enjoying each other company.

Were just inches apart; at any moment Connor could just kiss me. You do not know how much I want to kiss him. At laser tag, when Sam -and Jc- pushed Connor into me, I felt sparks. Sure, it was only a little peck, but I felt sparks- or fireworks.
