Kianas p.o.v.
Katie gave me a weird look, but then went back to paying attention to the game, now I know, me and Justin can only be friends. I don't want to get hurt.
Out of the blue my phone rings, it's an unknown number.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Hey, Kiana? It's Brandon."
"Oh hi, you called fast." I say, usually when someone calls that fast I assume they're desperate. Everyone was staring at me, I was gonna get up but I didn't know where to go.
"Yeah, my shift is over, do you maybe wanna hang out?" He asked.
"I can't right now but I can later, can I call you?"
"Okay, yeah. Call me when you're free." He said and hung up.
"Who was that?" Justin asked. By now everyone else was interested in their own conversations.
"Brandon, he wants to hang out later." I explained.
"Did you say yes?"
"Of course! He seems so nice." I answered. He shrugged it off and we continued hanging out with his friends.
My mom them texted me telling me to come home and help her decorate.
"Hey Justin, I have to go home now." I said he nodded then asked to exchange numbers which I gladly did. After we put our numbers in each others phone I left to go home, Ryan's house was only a few doors down from mine so it was easy finding my way home.
I walked in the door and saw boxes all over the living room.
"The rest of our stuff got delivered." Mom explained, I just nodded and walked over to her.
"We need to get new decor, mom." I said and chuckled. "We need things to be modern and everything needs to match." I explained.
"Yeah, I know." She sighed. "It's gonna take a while for things to be normal and less chaotic." She explained. I nodded, I already knew that, especially with dad working on a new movie and me trying to make new friends, my moms gonna have a lot of stress on her. I sighed and sat on the couch.
"Where's Justin?" She asked, God, she's already asking about him.
"Who cares we just met." I said.
"That's a bit rude, you're not gonna make any new friends with that nasty attitude." She said. She's right it's just that Justin already has friends and I don't fit in with any of them.
"I don't fit in with any of his other friends, mom." I explained.
"Did you even try talking to them all?" No.
I shook my head.
"Well, that's why, you need to try." She said. I sighed and walked up to my room. I say on my bed and wondered what I should do for the rest of the day. I took out my phone and called the one person who wants to hang out with me.
"Hello?" They answered.
"Hey Brandon, I'm free now if you want to hang out?" I said.
"Oh okay, do you want to meet me at the park?" He asked. I said yes and left to go meet with him.
When I got there he wasn't around yet so I say on the swings and pulled out my headphones and started to listen to music. 5 minutes later I saw Brandon walking down the path so I took out my headphones and started to walk towards him.
"Hey." I said. We greeted each other and started talking about random things, like his job, and how I just moved here, all that jazz.
"It's really hot, wanna go to my place?" He asked, I felt a bit hesitant at first but, I agreed and we started walking in a different direction.
We arrived at an apartment building, it looked fairly new. We got in the elevator which is one of my worst fears. I'm claustrophobic so I hate small spaces but I tried to keep my cool.
We got to his apartment and it was a bit messy but, I'm not here to judge.
"Sit on the couch, do you want a drink?" He asked.
"What do you have?" I asked back. He listed off a bunch of drinks but they all contained alcohol.
"Oh, no thanks, I don't drink alcohol." I said. This is awkward.
"Oh, you're one of those girls." I don't know if that was an insult but I felt offended.
"Yeah, I am. Is there a problem with that?" I asked with a bit of attitude.
"Chill." He said. That's my pet peeve, never tell me to chill, it'll just make me more angry.
"Don't tell me to chill." I said plainly, I don't know what I'm still doing here to be honest, I just met him and he's already pissing me off.
"Fine, calm the fuck down." He said, he's got nerve.
"I'm gonna leave now, my mom needs me home." I lied.
I left without him saying anything else to me, if he did I'd probably loose it.
I got outside, but I don't remember how to get home. This was a bad idea. I was gonna call my mom but she would never know how to get here.
I took out my phone and called the only person I know that might know how to get here.
"Hey, Justin?"
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Can you come pick me up, I'm at the Luxury apartment complex." I said. He said he would be here and five minutes and sure enough, he was.
I got into his car an it was silent for a minute. "Why were you there?" Justin asked.
"That's where Brandon lives." I said while trying to calm down.
"Oh, you went over to his house? On the first day?" He asked, it was a stupid question cause it was obvious.
"I won't be going there again." I said plainly. He asked me why am I told him the story and right when I was done we arrived back at my place.
