Ripples in your memory: Calaeb x Terra: Calaeb sat in his library in the dead silence, some people would be appalled and absolutely have to have some sort of noise or else they'd feel uncomfortable, Calaeb was not one of those people he found comfort in silence, in his mind that meant he was safe in whatever environment he had settled in wether it be Alaska or London.

A door opened to his right and he figured it was just Luna so he ignored it, figuring she was looking to steal another one of his books on psychology, witch he didn't mind at all but when he didn't hear the familiar swish of footsteps carrying the girl to the psychology section, he looked up curious.

"Uh, hey, Calaeb?" A smooth voice questioned, and Calaeb's eyes flickered around the room before they landed on his crush, and best friend; Terra.

Her amber eyes glittered, even in the low light, she looked me straight in they eyes. "Yes, Terra, may I help you?" She shifted her soft green hair swinging back and forth, I almost had the desire to touch it but I resisted.

"Uh...Do you want to hang out?" She questioned sounding uncomfortable. I closed my book and set it on the arm of my leather chair rising from my comfy position. I smiled at her.

"Sure, is there a place you would like to go?" I asked as she childishly glared at my Dimmore who had smarted off to her many times before.

"Glomore lake, I mean if you want to." I smiled softly knowing that was her favorite place to go, "Sure, Terra." I said remembering all the times we'd been there before, pointless memories that even if they were pointless, meant the world--, no, not just the world the universe, my entire existence, to me. It was a bonding place for us.

-

I watched Calaeb pull his car over to the side of the road and grab a jacket of his to throw over my sweater. His dark brown hair shone lightly in the dim forest light and his bright blue eyes seemed to glow.

He slung his large jacket over me and I inhaled his sent, he smelled of the promise of rain in spring, he smelled like hope.

He smiled at me and guided me down the worn forest path worn down by aging memories, sometimes the path would branch off to creations or landmarks.

Suddenly it didn't feel like a forest path, it felt like I was walking on my youth, my memories, my soul.

Calaeb turned back as I paused soaking in the past, his half lidded eyes watched me as if he were experiencing the same thing.

-

Terra ran through the path her booted feet hitting the ground loudly as she dashed of to the lake Calaeb close behind their laughter filled the air as Calaeb reached forward and caught her by the shoulder and pulled her back onto him leaving them both on the dusty forest floor laughing, their parents would probably be upset but that didn't matter now, they were caught in the moment.

"You can buy all the stars in the sky," Calaeb said looking up at the sky, "But you'll never know your wealth without someone to share it with." Terra finished for him grinning childishly at Calaeb, that had been their catchphrase for a long time.

Calaeb snapped out of his daze and looked at Terra mischievously with a gleam in his electric eyes. "Race you to the lake!" He shouted taking off as Terra shouted protests.

-

Calaeb snapped her out of her reverie, "Terra, I have a confession." He mused slowly.

"What?" Terra asked.

"I've experienced true wealth." He said. Terra gasped, "Who's the lucky girl? What's she look like?"

"Well she's got the prettiest amber eyes, tan skin, the softest hair, god she's so pretty..." Calaeb mused trailing off.

"What's her name?" Terra asked oblivious to Calaeb's hints.

"Terra."
