Greyson's pov
(Omg wow that's a first)

I don't know why but Lucy ran up to a little boy that resembled her. I think it's her little brother, I just know that when I got her parents to come with me 2 days ago, for when I came to get her, the strange little one year old boy was with them, (who is now like 3)was with them and the old couple, who I assume is her grandparents. I don't know why but they don't seem fond of me well neither do her parents.

I looked at Lucy and felt my heart break a little. She looked so happy with them, and a part of my heart wanted to pull her away and make sure she stays by my side. But a very small yet persistent side of me wants to let her choose, because I would hate myself if she was miserable with me.

Somehow, that persistent little voice won.

"Lucy...." I started and she turned her head to acknowledge me, she looks really excited and it seems like she wants to tell me something. But when she looked at my face, she knew I needed to have a serious talk with her.

"Come." She tugged my hand towards some bushes a good distance away from prying ears.

"I know that you want to be with your family..." she went to cut me off, but me expecting her to interrupt just covered her mouth with my hand. "you can be with them... you and I both know you won't be happy with me and not them, and you can come be with me when you're ready, maybe when you can actually feel the ante bond." I removed my hand from her mouth so she could reply.

"Can't they come stay with us..."
"I already asked..." she nodded. Obviously they didn't like me.

"Thanks for understanding, and I promise that when I'm ready... when I'm ready to leave my family, that I'll go and be with you." She leaned in and for the first time we kissed. It was brief and filled with hope and sadness and love. But it was perfect. It was the perfect goodbye.

I watched her walk off and she told her family the news and they all hugged her and kissed her cheeks, smiling at the news.

And before she could even turn around. I left.
