Jack and Kim

Chapter 2

Jack's Pov.
3:00
After school I went to see Kim's dojo. The Black Dragons dojo was very nice, and Kim showed me how she could brake boards. I smiled with enthusiasm when the Sensei came over to me. "well well well, you must be Jack, I'm Ty, the Sensei of this dojo." he said proudly. oh yeah hi" I replied awkwardly. "I've heard what you can do Jack, and I want you in my dojo." "oh thanks for the offer." i nodded. "I'd like to give you this as a gift." Ty said as he handed me a very nice and expensive bo staff. "hey that's mine!" the big boy I fought off at school yelled. "it's Jack's now frank." Ty said with gritted teeth as Frank stomped away.

As I headed into the Bobby Wasabi Dojo, Rudy instantly asked where I got my bo staff. "oh that uh black dragon Sensei Ty gave it to me." "b-b-black dragon!!" Rudy stammered. He grabbed it out of my hand and threw it out the door. "Rudy!" i exclaimed. "nothing that a black dragon has touched is allowed in this dojo." "whatever" I replied rolling my eyes. I had been at Seaford for about a month and I decided to join the Bobby Wasabi Dojo a couple of weeks ago. I changed into my gee and started practicing until everyone arrived. "alright kids, our first match is this weekend!!" Rudy excitedly exclaimed. "we'll be fighting against our rivals... the black dragons."

Saturday 3:00
"The tournament begins with you Jerry, then Eddie, Milton, and Jack." Rudy nervously told us. Jerry was up, and things were going well until...he hit himself in the area that should not be hit. "ooh" the crowd gasped as Jerry went down. Eddie's turn. After an excellent performance Eddie received his orange belt. "woo-hoo! yeah baby!" Eddie yelled. "Milton we need one more belt to win, you've got this." Rudy gulped. "yeah, I've got this!" Milton chanted well running towards the mat. A few kicks, and punches later and Milton... WON! After running around the mat celebrating he hit a black dragon with his new belt and it was taken away. "aw christmas nuts!" Milton exclaimed. "MILTON REALLY?!?!" Rudy screamed. "Rudy it's okay I've got this in the bag" i reassured him. "okay Jack, you've got this, okay."
I walked onto the mat with confidence when suddenly that annoying black dragon kid Frank slammed him foot down on my leg, the pain was unbearable. All of my friends rushed over, and I looked up to see my new friend Kim, throw down her gee. "I'm not participating in a dojo that hurts the competition just so they don't lose." She looked over to me, and I knew I had to do this. I told Rudy to get off my leg. Then I did something no one saw coming. I sprinted to kick the bar, but I only pushed off one leg. BAM the bar was down. Everyone cheered and came over to me, even Kim came over and congratulated us. And from them on out, I knew the Bobby Wasabi Dojo was a new found home of mine.

2 weeks later, After school
Kim's Pov.
After the tournament i joined the Bobby Wasabi Dojo, I made friends with all the guys and showed them what I can do. They really are great people, and I'm looking forward to the future with them.
