Last night's events played through my mind as I made my way down the hall. Harry mentioned hunters that wanted me dead and I just can't stop thinking about it. He was able to get my mind off of it enough for me to go to sleep, but now that I'm up again, it's all I can think about. Besides the already frightening fact that Eliodoro could be anywhere planning anything.
When I walked into the kitchen Dacey was spreading peanut butter on a sandwich. However, her body seemed to tense up when I entered the room. Strange...
"So, I heard what you said yesterday," I mentioned. "You actually cared about me; if I died or not."
"Get out... Stay away from me," she said quietly but with much seriousness.
"What? Why?"
Dacey's hands dropped the knife they had held and instead gripped tight to the counter, seeming to restrain herself from something.
"Get. Out." she spoke through gritted teeth, looking up at me angrily.
"What the hell is going on?"
All of the sudden she let go of the counter, picked up the knife, and started to come at me. I was in so much shock that I couldn't move. In a flash she was out of my sight and I glanced around the room looking for any trace of her. As my eyes caught sight of something on the floor, I quickly came to realisation. Dacey was flat on her back on the ground, Louis pinning her down. He wrestled the knife out of her hands and threw it aside.
"Are you okay?" Louis asks, looking back at me momentarily.
"Yeah," I replied quietly; still in shock of the previous events.
The other lads came rushing in at the sound of the knife clattering on the floor. Automatically, I flinched at the sound. Was she going to try to kill me? They looked back and forth between me and the two on the floor. Then Dacey said something that made all of us want to leave.
"You know, it's kinda hot having you on top of me like this," she said to Louis.
I stuck my finger in my mouth, pretending to barf. The boys laughed and we left the kitchen. Now with the four of them, I decided we better find something to do today.
"Hey guys, wanna do something... different today?"
"What'd you have in mind?" Zayn asks.
"I dunno. Is there a park round here somewhere?"
"A park...?" Niall asked disbelievingly.
"Yeah! You're never too old for the park." {I'm 18 and still go there haha}
"Especially the swings!" Liam says backing me up.
"Okay, I officially love you!" I exclaimed going over and wrapping my arms round him.
When I let go Liam seemed overjoyed whereas the others looked very jealous... Especially Harry. I really need to note this curse thing and how it'll affect my relationships with these boys. If I'm not careful, I could really hurt someone.
"I know where one is; I go there all the time to just clear my mind," Harry chirped in.
He held out his hand and I happily took it. Our fingers intertwined when we got side-by-side and started walking out of the house.
Once we arrived at the park the first thing I did was lug Harry across the grass to the swings. Liam raced over and occupied the other one. It wasn't a problem because I'd told Harry to push me. I don't know, I've just always wanted that type of boyfriend.
Whoa, hold the phone. Did I just say b-b-boyfriend? What in bloody hell has gotten into me? We aren't dating! Sheesh, mind, calm yourself. At least I don't think we are. I mean, it's not like he's asked me to be his girlfriend. So, then we're not dating; simple as that.
After a whilst of swinging, I decided to get off. Harry said he wanted to show me something, so I followed along with him. Oddly enough, the other lads were too caught up in high-speed tag to notice us leave the premisses.
Harry led me into a section of trees. I clung to his arm because, for whatever reason, I was a bit scared. After all, Dacey did try to stab me this morning; I have my reasons to back up my suspicions. Harry seemed to notice my tensed body, so he offered for me to get on his back. Just because I'd dreamed of getting a guy to do this for me, I accepted and hopped on.
We arrived at a large rock structure that had various places of quartzite shining in the suns rays. Harry took me to a more particular spot in the corner of the cave-like rock. He pointed to a spot with the words 'Harrius Edouardus Styles + Callidora Rosetta Antonio = semper & aeternum'
Latin seemed to becoming more apparent and easy to understand, yet I let Harry translate, unsure of what I thought it said.
"Harry Edward Styles + Callidora Rosetta Antonio = always & forever," he translated. "We carved that into this rock three thousand years ago to this day."
"That's amazing that it's still there after so long."
"I guess our love was that strong then."
God, Harry was just perfect; wasn't he? All of these things that happened so long ago he still remembers. I can tell that he wants it back, and maybe I do too. Maybe I want to be with him like I used to be; however that was. Maybe I want to wake up to his messy curls and dazzling green eyes for a millennia and more. That's why what he said next caught me off guard, but made me extremely happy nevertheless.
"Do you think we could try again? I guess what I mean is... Will you be my girlfriend Callidora?"
"Always and forever," I replied, restating our commitment that'd be carved into stone.
Harry's face beamed at my response. He pulled me nearer by the hand and then even closer when he held to my waist. Without hesitation, our lips connected in a kiss that seemed more special than the rest. It seemed like it could last forever and I wanted that for the first time in my life. I wanted someone else to have the control. I wanted Harry to be my control.
