You sighed and closed Mark's door, knowing nothing will work. You had been dating Mark for two years and was trying to help him cope with the loss of his friend. You walked downstairs to find Ryan in the kitchen, making a sandwich. You laid your head down and sighed. Knowing what was going on, a grabbed a glass and filled it with water. "Here, (y/n), drink this" he said, handing you the glass. You looked up and accepted the glass. You slowly drank the water then, when you were done, you put the glass on the table. "Thanks, Ryan" you said, looking at him. "No problem" he said, sitting next to you. You glanced at Mark's room when you heard him wail again. You sighed, really worried about him. "Go talk to him" you heard Ryan say. "I already tried and he wouldn't talk to me" you said, looking at him. He thought about it for a while before getting up and walking away. You watched him, confused. When he came back, he was holding Mark's Tiny Box Tim. "How is Tim going to help?" You asked when he handed Tim to you. "Just go and give the box to him" he said. You started to walked to Mark's room but was stopped when you heard Ryan say "just be careful, he.....we're still sensitive about the loss." You nodded and walked into his room.
You cautiously walked towards Mark's bed and sat down on the edge of his bed. You felt him tense up. You sighed and placed Tim in front of Mark. You saw him open and reach out for Tim. "Hey, Mark" you said. He rolled over to look at you. "Hey, (y/n)" he said in a cracked voice. You smoothed back his hair and saw that his dark eyes were bloodshot and looked tired. Your heart broke at the sight. "I'm sorry you had to see me like this" he said, sitting up. "No, Mark, its ok" you reassured him. He sat up and wrapped his blanket around himself
