Chapter 2

"Come on!!" they basically screamed at me , they being , Mayah , Jennifer , Lia and now , Claire , as we ran towards the taxi , in which the boys had already gotten into , and had so very kindly told the driver to start going.Sometimes... I really hate those boys... In a loving way.We had told Claire she could come with us considering she lived across the street , in the hour that we'd been together , I think we've all grown fond of her.I think it would've been harder not to actually. Sometimes she would kind of zone out and you could be waving your hand in front of her face for five minutes , and even then then , it seemed highly unlickley for her to notice.This had happened twice and had both ended in us all in fits of laughter."Alex!" Mayah said putting her face right in front of mine , it seems I'd zoned out.I snapped out of it quickley and looked at her , only now just realising how close her face actually was to mine , maybe only a couple centimeters of a gap between us. Suddenly I felt a slim object poked my side , making me flinch a little bit , but making sure I quickly turned my face back to it's normal expression.I looked to my side to see who poked me , and saw a giggling Jennifer , smiling at me "you two had been like that for five minutes , I was making sure you were alive" she said poking my side again , making me slightly jump ... It seemed Mayah was still there , so this ended in our foreheads colliding. "Ouch!" I said rubbing my forehead. Suddenly Mayah started laughing and poking me , making me giggle ... I happen to be a little bit ticklish. "What!?" is what I attemp to say , to the others it probably sounded more like "Whutsgkl" which made Mayah stop and look at me with a confused expression on her face."Weakling!" she whisler shouted into my ear , afterwards planting a kiss on my cheek and resting her head on my shoulder.Her laugh is so adorable.
*mental squeal*
Now it was Mayah's turn to fall asleep , even though , this journey was only half an hour. Woah, half an hour until we're at our new home , in America... Breath... In... Out...In...Out...
"Alex , are you okay?" Dan asks , looking mildly concerned . "Oh yeah I'm fine" I say slightly lying , then add."It's not like we're finally in America , about 20 minutes away from our new home or anything ... And I'm not about to start hyperventilating because of it at all..." this last statement made him laugh , but he stopped quickly , realising that Lia had fallen asleep on him and when he'd laughed her head had slidden down his arm and was now in a really uncomfortable looking position.This led to many attempts to move her to a more comfortable position , which led to Lia waking up. She sent a look to Dan that was kind of saying "Why did you wake me up" then Dan pouted and Lia laughed and gave him a quick kiss.
Suddenly , Claire spoke " Oh my God , this is it , this is my street... Our street" she said squealing , making Mayah wake up. "You better have a good reason for waking me up from my beauty sleep" she said making everyone laugh , "You don't need it , you're already as beautiful as you could possibly get " I stated , in a matter of fact kind of tone. "God , Alex , you're so cheesy" she said laughing and lightly punching my arm."But you love it" I said , pouting. "Yup" she answered , popping the 'P'. "Well ? Do you have a good reason to wake me up" she said trying to sound serious but failing, this made us laugh.
"Actually , there was" Claire said pointing outside with her thumb.
We all look and where she's pointing , is a large house , painted a dark blue , and the windowsills , a slightly lighter blue , it was two stories , and on the second one , from the middle of the house to one side , there was a balcony , this was painted white .In front of the house , there was a small garden , with plant pot's filled with , roses , tullips , jazmines , fox tails , and more flowers I don't know the name of , it was trully beautiful.

We got out of the taxi , collected our luggage from the boot and paid the cabbie.

Now that we were out , the garden was more visible , in between the pots of flowers and , flowers just growing randomly everywhere , there was a pebbled path , which led from a wooden gate , painted black , to the door of the house.

Suddenly Claire coughed and pointed across the strest , at a beige coloured house , this also had a front garden , but in it there was a smallish pond and , on the other side of a brick path , was a hamock swing."And that , is my house" It was literally just opposite ours.Suddenly Mayah spoke , "I can't believe we live just across the street from you" she said hugging Claire , tackling her to the ground , but holding my arm , to try and stop them falling , which led to all three of us lying of the floor , laughing.Claire was the first to get up , then me , I made the mistake of trying to help Mayah up , as I held her hand and started to pull , she suddenly pulled me , making me fall onto her. By this point , everyone else was holding their sides from laughing. I got up and , this time , left Mayah to get up by herself.She pouted and put a hand on her heart , gasping . I laughed and pulled her in for a kiss , but as I was about to kiss her she turned her head and I ended up kissing her cheek.
Now it was my turn to pout "Heyyyy" I said punching her arm lightly.She laughed and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

"Come on you guys , lets go in and see our house" said Gully gathering his luggage."Yes yes yes yes yes" said Jennifer jumping up and down excitedly.
