CHAPTER 1 In a wrong place at the wrong time

"This is it! Whoooo! Never thought that I am in Philippines already. Shocks!"

Oh! Nandiyan pala kayo. Well, let me introduce myself first. Name's Zofia Gabrielle Santiago. Yeah, you got it right, daughter of Mr. Ramon Santiago, the owner of Santiago Airlines. Actually we also have chains of hotels and malls all over the world. Oh, so much for that, I am half spanish, one-fourth american, and one-fourth filipina, may ganon ba?? haha. .

"Miss, ready na po ang inyong breakfast, would you want it in bed or downstairs?" rinig kong saad ni Felipe (pronounced as Felip) outside my room.

psssh! Nag introduce pa ang tao eh.

"Later Felipe, I'll just go downstairs, I need to take care of some stuffs first."

"Okay Miss, tawagin nyo na lang ako pag may kailangan kayo." At humayo na si Felipe.

Well, let's continue, we have been living in the States since I was born, but just so you know, pinay ako!I know how to speak Tagalog, konti nga lang. And I do really have this dream to stay in Philippines. So to make the story short here I am in Philippines! Tadaaaa!!!

By the way, bestie ku yan, nauna na yan dito sa phil. She has been my friend since in States. Her parents and mine are very close friends and are business associates. So wala akong choice. haha

" Wait, by the way, where are you staying right now?"

"I don't wanna tell you. haha I know you'll go here and invade my place" I said jokingly to her. " Kidding! Well I'll just text you my location gotta go now bestie. I'm running late for my first day of work. I don't want to leave bad impressions to my co workers. .haha"

I am standing right now in front of this very huge building, 20-floors high. Well it's not that I am amazed with the building I just have a feeling that everything will go smoothly this day.

Huminga ako ng malalim at nagsimulang maglakad papasok. I am taken aback sa dami ng taong nandoon. All of them pretty look busy so I hurriedly walk towards the elevator because I don't want to be in the middle of a busy crowd.

19th floor. As I step outside the elevator, I am in a very spacious room. Wala na yung mga taong busy.

" Ahm, excuse me, can you please tell me where Mr. Rafael Salazar's office is?" I asked the receptionist posted just a few steps away the elevator.

Di ako sure, but I think the girl smirked before she dryly answers my question.

"There," she points at the room at the end of the hallway.

"Thanks"

*knock knock*

Since nobody is answering and nobody is opening the door for me, well, I open the door.

I am amazed with what I am seeing. The office is very well furnished. The lighting of the room gives me this very calm sensation and my god the ventilation is perfect.

I sit on the sofa near the window where I can have an overview of the whole city. I also notice that there's a small terrace.

'Bestie, I'm at the office right now and guess what?'

'Haha! I wish! No I haven't met him yet. His office is very beautiful'

Ba't wala pang tao? Where's his professionalism? I've been waiting for almost half an hour already. At parang sasabog na pantog ko.

Ugggghhhh!!! Bahala na nga I stand and rush to a door. Well, this may be a toilet. I open it and to my surprise!

Oh my god!

"WTF! Can't you see we are busy here!" the man in suit shouted.

I see a man in a suit, his pants are on the floor and there's this girl kneeling in front of him who is half naked.

"What?!? Are you gonna stay there forever or you will go out?"

I am out of my mind for a short period of time before the man in suit shouts that brought me back to the world.

I immediately close the door and go back to the sofa. With what I saw para yatang umihi ako ng konti sa panty ko. joke lang!

'God Zofia! This is a hell of a first day of work. You really are in the wrong place at the wrong period of time' my mind blurts out in distress.
