CHAPTER 21

I get ready for school I'm supper sleepy because of last night I couldn't go back to sleep after that.

I go downstairs and everyone was eating breakfast that our teacher was making I actually thought about it our teacher making us breakfast and then we all go to school together.

I see Jacob on the his phone scrolling through it and I tell him I'm heading to Starbucks he tags along "anyone else want to come" I say "nah we'll meet you at the school" Seth says

Okay then we start heading to the car "you wanna drive" I tell Jacob "yeah sure" he says I go around to the passenger seat and I can't focus I'm so confused I'm scared something will happen.

We get to Starbucks and we order we pay we start drinking from our cups and we get to school.

We start getting out of the car seeing Mr. Anderson barley getting out of his car

"Hey sir " I say "hey Alex" he says
"So what do we get started on today" he says "well maybe you can explain what other creatures are with us " I say

"Well first off I know they are here they come to this school" he says

"Really do you know what they are and who they are" I say looking at my surroundings

"I can't tell you now they could be listening and you know some of them I'll tell you later" he says walking in his class and starts putting his stuff on his desk

"Well I have you for first period so I'm gonna stay" I say

The Bell rings and I'm very curious about the people that come here hopefully we know each other instead of hating each other I'm sitting in class and I can't believe I haven't noticed them or at least picked up their scent.

I'm waiting for the Bell and it finally rang I quickly ran to the door and I went down the hall to where Jacobs class is he comes out and I run behind him covering his eyes "yes Alex" he says "how did you know" I say laughing "hey well Mr. Anderson told me that their is more of them, people that come to school with us and he knows about why don't we" I say jumping up and down "calm down babe later we will just talk about it with Mr. Anderson who they are " "okay " I say happy

I go to my second period and that's the swimming class I sit out and watch their was this new girl but she didn't get in she sat next to me

As she sat next me she has long brown hair with red strands in her hair and she had beautiful eyes .

"What was your excuse" I say
"I told him I don't want to get in" she says
I nod
"So what's your name" I say
"Carmen, yours" she says
"I'm Alex" I say
Oh these are my friends Julian Daniel,Carlos,Seth, and Jacob.

"Hey guys"she says putting her hair behind her ear they all look at her and say hi, Julian starts blushing and I see his checks are red and he starts playing with his fingers he does that when he gets nervous.

Me and Carmen start talking and she is pretty cool and I noticed that when people jump into the pool and water splashing she would look at the water and she would step back.

And that got me curious about her I started asking her questions "where did you come from" I say "I came from a little island" "interesting" I tell her
The Bell rings and I wait for Jacob to walk with me I start talking to him about Carmen "yeah what about Carmen" he says "well I noticed that she is afraid of the water and she comes from a small island" I say
"So" he says "so that can mean something lets go ask sir" I say we go running to the house and I hear crying "wait" I say as I'm running it gets louder and louder "are you okay" I say "yeah I'm okay" she says "what happened" I say "Well I fell" she says I look at her confused "How did you fall"
"I fell from there" she points up okay well come with me.

We get to the house and Jacob helps me get her inside.
