DANIEL’S POV

Here I stand, in the middle of Taylor’s party. People from packs all around the country surround me, all here to see the birthday boy, my best friend. The doors to the vast room this party is being held in fly open. Everyone hushes their conversations and turn their heads to see who had burst open such a large door with such force; it had to be a powerful Alpha.

But the person standing in the doorway didn't look powerful, or like an Alpha, it was a girl. She had long golden brown hair that fell to her waist, bright green eyes and a tall figure; she was the definition of beauty. Not even moments after seeing her, my wolf started to go off in my head, Mate! He howled at me.

My mate! I had found her! I took another moment to admire her beauty, when I noticed something; she was surrounded by a group of five children. Each child looked different, but at the same time they all resembled my mate. Oh no. Were these here children? Rage coursed through me at the thought of her having children, but I forced myself to calm down and look at her lovely face.

Her face wore a stern expression, it reminded me so much of Taylor when he was concentrating. Wait… a lot of her reminded me of Taylor, from the way she walked to the tips of her golden brown hair. Was this Taylor’s twin sister? Crap.

I didn’t know much about Taylor’s family, all I knew was that he had a lot of siblings, one of which was his twin sister, and this was obviously her. Wow I had no idea that Taylor’s sister was so beautiful or that she was my mate.

The stern expression still on her face, she strode into the vast hall the five children hot on her heals.

ANDREW’S POV

Mate! Mate! My wolf howled at me. As I continued to stride forward I silenced her. No it wasn’t that I didn’t want my mate, it was that I couldn’t show weakness here, here in this place where almost everyone hated me. The only people here who didn’t hate me were Taylor and my mate, hopefully.

I keep my pace, with my brothers and sisters following behind.Making a clear path to where Taylor stood at the other end of the room. My path was soon stopped as Taylor’s beta James approached me. James let out a taunting laugh towards me before saying “Well, if it isn’t the Drew Crew” that bastard, I don’t even Know why Taylor picked him as his beta, must have been father’s dying wish or something. “What is a stupid Group of rogues such as you doing here?”

“We were invited.” I state coolly. I glance back at my children, my siblings. In a way they are my children, I’m the closest they’ll ever have to a mother. Maybe if we ignore him he’ll go away. I know that all our chances, if we had any to begin with, of getting off easy are shattered as I hear a low growl leave Carla’s lips.

“Oh! Is the little girl mad? Is she? Is she?” James says in a baby voice. Carla doesn’t take this lightly and lets out another growl. “Now, now girl, growling isn’t nice. Hey girl…” he stares at her for a moment “… you’re looking kind of skinny, come to think of it the whole lot of you are.” He pauses once more then asks “is the Drew Crew not getting enough food?! You can’t even feed your own family can you drew?! So pathetic!” he laughs like the maniac that he is. By now the whole hall is watching our little dispute. So is my mate. I scan the hall trying to catch a glimpse of him, but no such luck.

How I wanted to meet him, have him hold me, make myself his and him mine- my thoughts however are interrupted by a high pitched scream. I turn my head in the direction of the scream and what I almost can’t comprehend; James is holding Charlie upside down by one of her leg. Charlie is thrashing around in his grasp and screaming for me to help, this just angers me more. I lunge at James shifting into my pure white wolf. He has hurt my family and he will pay.

James immediately throws Charlie to the ground when he sees me pouncing. He shifted just as I tackled him to the ground, our wolves where approximately the same size, normally females wolves are smaller than males but since I have Alpha blood I’m bigger than the normal female. Our fight didn’t last long and I now had James pinned under me my teeth at his neck.
