Bus ride

(A/N) Hey! It's me the author!! I hope you love this story ive been planning on writing this for quite some time now let me just fill you in really quick. (y/n) means your name. (e/c) means eye color and (h/c) is hair color and others will be explained when needed throughout the story anyways enjoy!

Your Pov
This is it. A new town meaning a new home and new friends. Not that you had many back home but you had a few (A/N) Sorry if this makes anyone mad but this is you in the story xD anyways on with the tale!. You currently sat on a bus that was headed to no other than... Gravity falls, Oregon. You have to move here since 'the accident' a few weeks ago.

Your parents were involved in a fatal car crash and you had no one else to take care of you besides your aunt in gravity falls. You eventually fell asleep on the bus (the trip was 10 hours for crying out loud!)

You were woken up by the bus slowing down. You opened your eyes to see if you were at your bus stop. Nope. You thought to yourself. You looked out the window to see some people getting on. You didn't really care. You slumped back into your seat figuring you probably had another hour or so to go, so you tried to fall back asleep about 5 minutes later you were almost asleep when. "HIII!!!" Someone yelled in your ear. You jumped, bumping you head on the window. "Owwww." you whined rubbing your head.

"Oops sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" You turned to see a young girl, and looked about your age. She had long brown hair and a sweater with a shooting star on it. She also had a pink headband holding her hair in place. "T-thats okay." You reply shily. "Here let's start over" the girl said. "Hi! I'm Mabel I'm 14 and I'm heading to gravity falls for the summer!" "H-h-hi I'm (Y/N) a-and I'm also g-going to gravity falls." You stutter.

"Awesome!!" Mabel yells. You cringe slightly at how loud she is. She seems to take notice of this and blushes slightly embarrassed. "Sorry." Mabel said. You gave her a small smile to show that all was good. She nodded and then sprung up suddenly. "Oh! She cried. "You need to come meet my twin!!" "O-o-okay." You stutter quietly.

Mabel leads you to the back of the bus and you see a boy sitting there, he had black shoes and brown hair like his sister he wore gray shorts and a red/orange shirt with a deep blue vest. 'Wow hes cute' You thought to yourself. Wait cute? 'Shut up (y/n) you don't even know this guy' you thought again. "Hey bro-bro! Meet my new bff (y/n)!!" Mabel yelled. "(Y/n) this is dipper! Dipper (y/n)!" "h-hi" you stutter. "Hey." dipper replies somewhat coldly, looking out the window. You frown and turn away. Maybe he wasn't so cute after all.

Dippers POV

"Hey." I reply shortly as I turned to look out the window. I noticed out of the corner of my eye (y/n) frown and look away. I really wasn't trying to be mean. I just had a lot on my mind.

Mine and Mabel's parents seemed to be tired of us and didn't want us hanging around for the summer so they shipped us off to gravity falls to live with our great uncle Stan.

He ran some sort of "mystery shack" I think it's just a dumb tourist trap. Needles to say I was less than excited. "Dipperrrrr." Mabel whined, snapping me out of my trance. "Yeah?" I asked. "Don't be mean to my bestie or I'll mess you up." I snorted and turned to look out the window again, just as Mabel and (y/n) walked away. (Y/n) looked like she was gonna cry. 'I wonder what her problem is' I thought before taking out my notebook and drawing pictures of paranormal creatures.

Your POV (again)

You sat and talked with Mabel for the next hour. You didn't mention your parents though. 'I just met her. I don't want her feeling sorry for me right away' you thought. "Well this is the stop." Mabel said sadly. "Yeah." You sigh. You and Mabel hop off the bus with dipper not far behind you.

You three walk over to a bench and sit down with Mabel in the middle. You all sat silently as you waited to be picked up from the station. Mabel started picking at her braces. Then some old looking car squealed into the parking lot. You, Mabel and dipper all reach up and cover your ears.

The car pulled into a handy cap space and came to a stop. As soon as it did, an old looking man came out of the car and stretched. He wore a black suit and tie with a weird fez hat. He wasn't really in the best of shape.

He walked over to were you and the twins were sitting. He pulled out a note card.

"Okay who here is dipper and Mabel?" He asked. This must be their grunkle Stan, Mabel was telling me about.

"Hey I'm Mabel! Nice to meet you!" Mabel jumped up and hugged him. Stan was caught off guard and tensed for a second but than he relaxed and patted her head softly.

"Haha, hey kid I'm your great uncle Stanford but you can call me Stan." 'Well he seems nice enough'

"And you must be dipper" Stan said turning to dipper. "Yup." Dipper said shortly.

"Alright, fair enough. Who's the girl?" Stan said referring to you. Mabel pulled away from the hug and said.

"Oh this is my bus buddy/bff (y/n) she's staying in gravity falls too."

"Well do you need a ride kid?" Stan asked me. You shook your head and said.

"N-no my aunt is c-coming to get me."

Stan nodded.

"Alright let's go kids." Dipper and Mabel started walking to Stans car.

"Wait!!!!" Mabel yelled. She ran back and gave you a big hug which you gladly accepted. You than exchanged numbers and she ran off into the car with Stan and dipper.

"Bye (Y/N)! She yelled out the window. "I hope I see you around!" You smile and sit back on the bench to wait for your aunt. 'Maybe this won't be so bad after all'
