I removed my shoes, socks, skirt, and blouse and placed them neatly on my bag. I stayed in my bra and underwear. I dived into the lake near the waterfall. I swam to the surface to get air. I continued swimming until I resurfaced and noticed my phone ringing. I got my towel from my bag and wrapped it around myself and got my phone, not bothering to look at the caller ID.
"Hello?"
"Veronica? Where have you been?" Says mother.
"I'm at the lake. I'm getting dressed to go back."
"I've been worried Child! Get back her fast. We're not done setting up for Alpha's Son, Dominic ' Feast."
"Ok, I'll be there in 15."
"Ok."
I hung up and unwrapped the towel from me and started getting dressed. I put on my socks then my shoes and put my towel and phone into my bag and started my way to the pack house. Instantly missing the peacefulness for the lake.
