three thirty came around more quickly than harry expected. he was sat in his black car, across the street in the same spot he was parked in when louis had came up to him. his windows were rolled up so nobody could see him, unless they literally had heir face on the glass looking in.

the blue eyed boy was walking down the block with a brown haired girl to his right, a blonde haired boy to his left. once they were close, he could hear how obnoxiously loud they were, laughing and talking. harry chewed on his lower lip as louis' bum was smacked by the blonde kid, louis rubbing it after.

that kid did have a nice ass. he wasn't surprised that everyone else was going to stare at it but he also wasn't pleased by it. harry wanted to be the only one touching it and he will be soon enough. just in time. suddenly the boys eyes snapped over to his car and he froze, thinking he could see him.

he looked disappointed and luckily they were close enough to harry's car so he can hear what they were saying. "aw, he's not here anymore. he was really nice, you guys would have liked him. he had pretty green eyes and curly hair-"

"you told us this story about five times, louis." the blonde guy laughed making the brown haired girl push him and roll her eyes.

"so what if he did? let him be excited."

louis smiled in triumph, nodding at her. "thank you, eleanor. niall here is just jealous of me." the boys stuck heir tongues out at each other childishly making the girl roll her eyes but smile fondly at her two friends.

this is what harry did all day. he sat here, just watching louis. the trio talked for about five more minutes until louis waved them off and skipped into the house. he was going to be back out, harry knew it. he came out everyday, sometimes playing with the kids on his block, sometimes just sitting out there to enjoy it.

turns out, harry was right. louis did end up coming out but not until hours later, it was almost midnight when he did and harry briefly wondered why he was out so late until he came closer and saw tears coming down his face and a bruise on his jaw. he stood in his pajamas and a purple hoodie.

clenching his jaw, harry started up his car and started driving slowly, following the boy when he started walking in the direction where the bad neighborhoods were. of course, he had a bad feeling about it but didn't bother stopping to approach louis. he didn't want to get caught.

twenty minutes later, louis was shivering as he walked throughout what looked like an abandoned neighborhood (it wasn't, it's the boarded up windows and run down houses that made it look like it), and he was in the middle of the block.

harry could see all of the predators hiding in corners, giving the innocent boy hungry stares but didn't do anything about it. maybe it's because they recognize harry's car or maybe some other odd reason but they didn't make a move.

at least not yet.

ten more minutes in, the boy was stopped by a drunken man, his arm getting gripped harshly. from what harry could see, louis was trying to shove him off. he succeeded at first but was grabbed again, this time by the throat.

speeding up his car, he halted in front of the two, probably making skid marks on the street. "what the f uck do you think you're doing?" harry got out of his car and slammed the door shut. before he gave the man time to answer, harry grabbed the back of his neck and swung him around, slamming his face into the brick wall.

a small gasp was heard from louis as harry repeated the action, bringing the mans face back before slamming it against the wall again, this time putting more pressure and moving so his face was scraping against it.

finally, harry dropped the man to the ground to see his face all bloody, one of his teeth hanging from his mouth and the sight of him made his blood boil even more. harry growled and kicked his face, blood getting on his brown boot.

"harry, please stop." the small voice stopped him from ruining the mans face even more but he didn't turn around. "i'm fine, okay? you didn't need to do that."

swinging around, harry glared down at him. "i didn't need to do that? really? he was about to r ape you. he was going to kill you. you're defenseless, what the hell are you doing in this f ucking neighborhood? are you crazy?"

closing his eyes, louis took in a deep breath then opened his eyes again, revealing the blue. "you don't know me, okay? just because i talked to you once doesn't mean-"

"how do you know that i know nothing about you, hm? how do you know i'm not a f ucking stalker?" his voice made the other flinch back some, his voice echoing throughout the quiet neighborhood making dogs start barking in the distance.

instead of replying to that, louis looked over at the beat up man, his lower lip trembling. "we need to get him to a hospital, harry. call an ambulance or something." just as louis was about to bend down to help him, harry gripped his arm tightly and pulled him up, pushing him against the wall where he slammed the guy against.

if it was possible, he looked even angrier. his jaw was set tight, his eyes blazing and the veins in his neck popping out. the man didn't even deserved to live after touching his louis, his victim, he boy he's been planning to do things to after many months.

"do you hear yourself right now? he was going to do things to you and you're saying he needs a hospital. no. what he needs to do is die for trying to touch you. you're mi- you're a minor." harry corrected himself from saying something he would regret, although now he sounded like a hypocrite.

he's over here saying that this man doesn't deserve to live because of the things he was about to do to louis, but he's planning to do them himself.

the others blue eyes held a hint of fear and them, they were wide as they stared at harry's dark green ones. "i'm sorry. please let go of me." harry glanced down and realized he still had him tight in his grip making him quickly let go and back up.

"get in the car. i'm driving you home." when harry walked to his car, he noticed the boy sill wasn't moving. "now, louis!" finally, louis scurried over to the passenger side of the car and getting in. harry rolled his eyes in annoyance, getting in and driving off, not bothering to buckle himself up.

as they drove, he could see louis from the corner of his eye looking confused as he looked out of the window. "this isn't the way to my house."

harry ignored him and soon pulled up to a mcdonalds for him. he felt bad for hurting louis and of course he figured some food wouldn't make up for it but it would help. he just needed for the boy to trust him.

he went into the drive thru and ordered a couple things, soon paying for them. once he got the food, he held onto it before driving to louis' house and stopping in front of it.

"eat this before you go in." harry handed the paper bag over along with the mcflurry making louis grin widely, forgetting about earlier. "and please, no more walking around at this time."

louis nods while digging the spoon in the ice cream, shoving it into his mouth happily. the two sat there in silence until louis was full, a few chicken nuggets and fries still left over.

"thank you." the boy grinned and leaned over, pecking his cheek before unbuckling himself, getting out of the car and walking up to his home with the bag in his hand.

a chuckle came from him and he drove off to his own home, getting dressed and setting his alarm for six in the morning then heading to bed.
