So Far Away

I was being shipped off. To a different country. He was sending me away. My mother left us, she ran off with some other man, when I was only seven years old. She left her only daughter, for some man that she had only known for two months. And now she has the nerve to call my house, and force me to go stay with her for the entire summer? She has no right telling me what I can and can't do. She isn't my mother anymore, no, she stopped being my mother ten years ago. When she decided she loved some cheese stick more than her own flesh and blood.

"Please fasten your seatbelts and prepare for landing." A voice said over the intercom. I did as she said, hastily fastening my seatbelt. I've always been afraid of heights, but my 'mother' didn't care, she sent me on an airplane anyway. Shows how much she cares.

This summer is going to be torture, living with the person who caused my misery so many years ago. When she left, My grades dropped and I went into a sort of depression. I wouldn't eat and my friends left me to deal with it all by myself. Two years ago, I started seeing a counsellor, and she got me back on track. I made new and better friends, who are also coming with me this summer. I figured we could just stay in my room or down at the beach.

I never even thought that I'd ever be happy at my mother's, but what happens when I meet a really great boy, and end up wanting to stay at my mothers? Who knows, all I know now, is that I've never felt So Far Away.

(A/N) Okay so this is just a little preview of a story I may write after I finish Obsessed With Love. I hope you like it and I can't wait to start it. I may start it sooner than after I finish my other story but oh well. If I do, I do. If not, I'll write it after.
