How you meet

Chris:

"Are you kidding me?! Look where you are going", you yell at a rude man who almost run you over. Sighing you kneel down to pick up your bag and the things which fell out. That's really not one of your lucky days. Suddenly another hand wants to grab one of your things. It's like a cheesy movie where you pick up something and then your hands touch accidently.

Surprised you raise your head to look at the person. "Hi", the man in front of you says a bit awkwardly, but gives you his best smile. "Uh... Hello", you reply still shocked that someone helps you to pick up your things. "That's probably yours", you grab your phone from his hand now slightly smiling. The two of you stand up not knowing what to say.

"Thank you very much for your help.. Uh...", that's the moment where you realize that you don't even know his name. "It's was me a pleasure. My name is Chris", he replies friendly, while he shakes your hand. "I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you", you tell him your name. An uncomfortable silence appears between the two of you.

"Do you want to drink a coffee with me? As a thank you for your help?", you suggest suddenly a bit shy. Chris scratches the back of his neck. "I would love to, but I'll pay. You already have a bad day", he replies grinning like a boy. Your day couldn't get better, right?

Josh:

"Please! I don't want to go, Mummy!", you stomp with your little feet, but it doesn't change your mother's opinion. She shoves you into the classroom. Pouting you cross your arms in front of your chest. "Don't be so stubborn, (Y/N). You have to go to school, sweetie. I'm sure you will have a lot of friends", your mother tries to cheer you up.

The first school day should be something special, but you don't like it from the first second. "She's going to be a little rebel", your father always says to your mother. Maybe he isn't wrong with his argument. A woman kneels down to you smiling. "You are (Y/N), right?", she asks you friendly.

Without a word you make your way towards one of the chairs in the middle of the room. "Hey, you don't want to be here?", a boy in your age sits down right next to you. As an answer you just nod. He laughs for a brief moment and points at himself. "Me too! I want to be home with my sisters. They are still so tiny", interested you raise your head to look at him.

"You are a bigger brother? Cool!", you exclaim, "My name is (Y/N)." The boy grabs your hand to shake it. "I'm Joshua, but my mummy calls me Josh", he introduces himself. "Do you want to play something? Hide and Seek?", he suggests smiling. "Sure!" Maybe school isn't that bad. Especially with your new friend.

Wendigo Josh:

"Guys! That's not funny anymore!", you yell through the forest, while you wrap your jacket tighter around yourself. Your friends convinced you to make a trip on this mountain. They told you that strange things happened here. Unfortunately you lost your group, because of the darkness and the snow. Your first thought was they play a prank on you, but nothing happened.

A sigh escapes your mouth as you continue your way through the woods. Suddenly you hear something growling behind you. Of course you stop in your movement immediately. It's like a bad horror movie, where you turn around and get killed from the monster. As fast as you can you turn around to look at a man in your age. It's too dark to see his features, but something isn't right.

"Hello... Uh, could you help me? I lost my friends somewhere", you ask almost whispering. The unknown man tilts his head a little bit like a dog. Before you can repeat your request, he takes a step forward so you can see his face. Gasping you put your hand over your mouth. "Oh my god! Are you alright? What happened?", you ask shocked and worried at the same time.

Apparently the man is surprised to hear something like that. Nobody cares about him. Especially not strangers in the middle of a dark forest. They always run away. To his surprise you take a few steps closer. "I'm (Y/N). Don't worry, everything will be alright", you want to cheer him up. The stranger tilts his head again. You are sure he understands your words. He wouldn't hurt you.

Matt:

"You are such a great friend! I'm glad we talked about this! Get out of my way", you yell at your best friend who dates your crush on purpose. Without a further word you run just into a random direction, while you push your way through the people. The most of them don't even notice you. It's just a normal day at school. There is always drama because of unrequited love and stuff like that.

You are not quite sure if you should cry or yell at someone. Sighing you sit down on the grass from the trainings field. "Hey, are you alright?", someone asks friendly as the person takes the places next to you. A bit surprised you raise your head to look at the person. Why should someone care about your problems?

The quite handsome boy gives you a slight smile to comfort you. "I ... No", you admit as single tear escapes your eye. "I'm sorry. Do you want to talk about it?", he wants to know, while he wipes the tear away with his thumb. Slowly you shake your head. It's not like you don't trust him, but the wound of the betrayal of your best friend is too fresh.

"I'm Matt by the way. I think we didn't meet, because I would remember your beautiful face", his statement makes you blush a little bit. However, you grab his hand to shake it. "I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you", you introduce yourself to him. At least you found a new friend who really cares about you.

Mike:

A sigh escapes your mouth as you enter the new school. You are used to move often, because of your father's job. The bad thing is that you never had good friends... or friends generally. That's probably the reason why you build a high wall around your heart.

All the girls and boys are staring at you and start to whisper. Like always you held your head high and continue your way to your new class. With emotionless eyes you enter the room - your new playground. "Uh.. Oh!... A Troublemaker!", one of the guys exclaims. The other teens start to laugh because of his statement, while the teacher clears his throat. "Hey, hey! (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) is new so please be nice!"

A sigh escapes your mouth as you roll your eyes already annoyed. It's always the same procedure. "There is a free chair next to Mike", your new teacher points at a boy in the row. Without a word you make your way to your place. "Welcome to hell!", Mike greets you smiling and winks at you. Of course you noticed that he seems like a troublemaker. His favorite hobby is probably breaking hearts.

"Not interested", is the only thing you say to him. Surprised he raises his eyebrows. For the first time Mike doesn't know what to say, then suddenly a slight smile appears on his lips. "Challenge accepted", he says to himself. There has to be a way to get to know you better.
