April's POV
"....that can't be her" I said.
The girl looked almost exactly like January only she was thinner and had scars on her arms. Dark circles shadowed her eyes.
Mason began to walk up to her. I started to follow but Isaac held me back.
"let's make sure it's her first" he said.I couldn't hear their conversation but she looked mad. I suddenly remembered that Mason never knew her real name. She told me once when we were kids. In the sand box. I was four and she was three. She looked lonely in the sandbox by her self so I walked over and started talking to her.
I'm April. I said.
Hi. I'm DavinaI walked up to Mason, not listening to Isaac and said "Davina, I know you remember us. We were best friends since you were three." I pulled out my phone and showed her some pictures of us that I took over the years. She just shook her head "all I remember is fighting with you." Then she pointed at Mason " and I remember you cheating on me. Just leave me alone"
She left with the girl that was with her. She only looked back to flip us off. Nice............
Back in the car, we didn't say anything for awhile until Mason's shaky voice broke the icey silence
"i can't believe we came all this way for that?"I nodded in agreement and looked at the map.
"there's a hotel around the corner we could stay at for the night. It's called 'the Safari motel'. No, actually I'll drive." I got in the driver's seat and we rounded the corner, leaving our old friend behind us.
