most of the day was pretty boring. the teachers mostly just gave us the class criteria and stuff like that. finally it was last period. i had study hall. i walked in with cam next to me. i saw a table crowded with boys. we went over and sat down. "marley!!!" gilinsky ran over and hugged me. we hadnt really seen eachother over the summer. come to think about it, i hadnt really seen much of the boys at all over the summer. "hey jack." i gave him a small smile. "so how are you guys?" i asked. both jacks, aaron, taylor, carter, matt and shawn all replied with good, which was always their reply, even if they werent good. we caught up for the rest of the period and i was really having fun; until the bell rang. everyone groaned because we were all laughinf and having a good time. "hey, i have an idea. why dont you guys come back to my house? my mom wont be home for a while and nash and hayes would be happy to see you guys. i got a lot of hugs and high fives. i laughed at how silly these boys were. we walked home, since my house was only a frw blocks away. i only took the bus because i didnt feel like walking, and i liked sitting with cam. we walked in the door and put all of our bags and stuff down. "you guys can go up to nash's room and play some video games if you want. ill make some food." they all bolted up the stairs, calling remotes and who gets to play. i laughed to myself. i walked to the kitchen and grabbed some bags of popcorn and stuck them in the microwave. i gathered some candy and chips and when the popcorn was done i put it all into bowls. i stared at the ten bowls in front of me and wondered how i was going to carry them all when cam walked in. "hey marley. need some help?" he asked smiling. his smile was so cute. "yea thanks." i said laughing. he stared at me for a couple seconds until i cleared my throat. he looked at me and looked away, his cheeks burning red. "why were you staring at me?" i asked, trying to hold back a laugh. "i... uh... you look really beautiful." i blushed and looked away. that was wierd, why would he say that all of the sudden. and why was he so embarrassed? "should we bring these upstairs now? in sure the boys are starving." i said. "oh yea. let me help you." he said, grabbing about six bowls at once. i grabbed the rest and followed him up the stairs. we walked into the room and got trampled by the boys. nash and hayes had come home too, and they all seemed really hungry. cam got up and held his hand out. i grabbed it and he pulled me up with ease. he was so strong, and muscular, and his abs were really nice. he was really hot. wait no! what am i saying?? i dont like cam! we are best friends! nothing more, nothing less. i tried to brush it off, but for the rest of the day, i couldnt help but wonder, was i falling for cam?
