"You want me to what?"

M/n blinked and stared at Kou, his eyes narrowing as he inwardly questioned his sanity. "You do realize I just met you today, right? And you don't even know my sexuality." Kou merely kept on smirking and stepped even closer to the male, M/n taking a step backward once his personal space was invaded. It was silent for what seemed like an eternity before Kou burst out laughing. "You're so fun to tease! You know, I feel like we're going to get along well kitten!" 

M/n's eyebrow twitched. Kitten? I'll fucking show you kitten, you vampire piece of-

Suddenly, a loud bang sounded on the door. "Kou, stop fucking terrorizing him and hurry the fuck up! No wonder Ruki can't ever leave you alone."

M/n walked towards the door and opened it, a slightly annoyed Yuma standing at the doorway. He thanked whatever god was up there and smiled up the taller male. "Hey. I'm guessing you found the room that you were staying in for the night?" Yuma angled his head down and narrowed his eyes. "I did. I was trying to get away from that annoying blonde bi-" 

"Watch it."

"Hey! I'm blonde too!" 

Both Kou and M/n glared at him (though M/n's eyes held more promise of pain). Yuma rolled his eyes and turned his back to them. "Whatever. I just came to tell you that before I went to sleep. Damn car, good for nothing junk." The brown haired male walked away, and then disappeared from their sight (before he did, M/n swore he heard something about vegetables).

"How rude. Well, I'm going to go shower now, don't be too lonely without me!" M/n grunted and ran a hand down his face. In less than 2 hours, he found out they were all vampires, Ruki wanted to know more about his species, Kou was a teasing and spoiled piece of shit, Yuma has anger issues, and Azusa is really quiet.

A little bit too quiet compared to his brothers.

The sound of the shower running sounded from the other side of the door. Finally. Not wanting to endure anymore of Kou's teasing when he gets out, M/n made it his task to make sure Azusa and Ruki were comfortable. First stop, Ruki Mukami. He walked out of his bedroom, taking all the time in the world to get to the vampire's room. M/n tilted his head up and smelled the air. Yeesh, he thought. Despite not being a werewolf, a fox's nose was just as sensitive. And boy could he smell blood. He scrunched up his nose and raised his hand to knock on Ruki's door. "Come in." Ah, right. Vampire senses. He opened the door and smiled. Ruki sat at the edge of his bed, book still in hand, his gaze as monotonous as ever. "I hope you have made yourself comfortable. Is there anything I can help you with right now?" 

The scent isn't strong in here. Is it in Azusa's room then?

Ruki glanced up from his book and shook his head. "Now that I'm thinking about it, no. I don't need anything. Thank you for your concern." M/n did his best to conceal the look of shock on his face. Huh, for some reason, he thought this guy would have been a jerk. Guess he was wrong. He gave another grin, "okay, I hope you sleep well. Breakfast will be in the dining hall." He walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. See, M/n? That wasn't so bad. You were just overthinking it.

With newfound confidence, he went to the room next to Ruki's and knocked. "Azusa, it's me, M/n. I wanted to check in and see everything was to your liking." 

No response.

M/n huffed and scratched the back of his hand, a habit he got when he got nervous. Maybe he just went to walk outside. Auntie and Sonia are fine. He turned his back to the door, but just as he did, a hand grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the room. He didn't need to look back to know who it was, but damn did it still scare him. Well, that and the scent of fresh blood. M/n turned around and stared at the ever-so-quiet Azusa who was fiddling with his bandages. The h/c-ette narrowed his eyes, "I wanted to check in on you-" "I'm fine. But... Eve isn't... here." 

Eve, M/n thought with a calm expression. That must be who the king is using for his project. But if they are here, then where is she? 

"And I'm thirsty." 

Oh fuck. The calm expression twitched as his wrist was lifted up to Azusa's mouth. He gently pulled his hand back, but Azusa quickly tugged it back towards his mouth. "Azusa, I'm not your Eve." No response. Azusa parted his lips to reveal his fangs, and before he could bite down, M/n threw a punch to his cheek, throwing Azusa off of him. The boy merely held his cheek and looked at him with small smile while the other backed away. "Eve... never hit us. I like it." 

Like it. He... liked it? M/n didn't know if he should apologize or say "you're welcome," so he did a mix of both.

"Uh, sorry about that, but you really shouldn't be biting people without their permission, but uh... I guess you're welcome?" He shifted his e/c eyes to anywhere but the beret wearing vampire. He chuckled nervously, "I'll be going now, so bye! See you tomorrow!" Azusa was left in the room, still holding his cheek, his eyes trained on the spot M/n once was. He hummed. "M/n... Maybe you can be another Eve."

"Holy fuck I hate it here." M/n flopped down face first onto his bed. Now wearing a comfy pair of f/c shorts rather than his earlier clothing, he was ready to just sleep. He turned over on his bed and brought a pillow close to his chest. "Damn vampires," he said while closing his eyes. "you're so confusing. Eh, oh well. Nothing I can't handle."

I mean... I hope.
