About a month into my SONICVita experience, two of the owners quit, leaving the remaining one to manage the chat. The one left was barely online, so to help with the issue, Light and Steven became Mods. Steven was, as usual, fairly neutral, and didn't step out of line. Light, however, went on a n00b trolling spree, the butt of most of this becoming Marlon.

Marlon was fairly new to the chat and RP as a whole, but that didn't stop him from trying. And oh god, did Marlon try. His OC would constantly teleport and Godmod the others. For example, Marlon would say that he's at the gym or whatever. Meanwhile, Alice, Light, and Steven would be battling Eggman or something. Chances are, Marlon would suddenly be fighting Eggman, and Eggman would now be fighting Marlon and only Marlon. Meanwhile, the person who was controlling Eggman would just sit there, pissed.

He also would pull shit like:
Marlon: [Walks over to Alice]
Alice: Oh, hi Marlon!
Marlon: [Alice Kisses Marlon]
Alice: (●__●) No.
Marlon: [ALICE KISSES MARLON]
Alice: (●__●)

Except with every female OC. Every. One. Marlon quickly became the chat's resident chew-toy, with Light only confirming this role every time they were both online. Marlon quit the chat at least five times, and each time, he won the sympathy of a few new people.

I ended up joining his "Side" after Quit 3, mainly because I couldn't stand Light at that point. He was online more than any of us, but he would only RP if it was a fight, or any circumstance where he could outshine other OCs.(#OutShineMeansOverPower.)

To make matters worse, you couldn't talk shit about him. Even when Light wasn't on, it was almost as if his presence lurked, knowing exactly what people would say. Within an hour, he'd be online to bring the ban hammer upon anybody who spoke of him in a bad way. In discussion, most of what he said didn't make sense, or wasn't relevant. But when he wasn't online, the chat had a serene incompleteness to it. While we didn't admit it outside of Private Messages, we knew one thing:

The chat wasn't complete without Light, and he knew it all too well.
