Jessy's POV:

I inhaled deeply and could smell a strong clean, pine sole smell. Bathroom. I need to go to the bathroom. I tried getting out up. But my legs wouldn't budge. Oh no, not this again. I cant even open my eyes. I try wiggling my toes.. nothing moved. I could smell grits and.. and.. bacon. Wow. I could really go for some bacon. So crispy and red tender burnt brown. I haven't had bacon in weeks. I convinced Bobby to not slaughter the porkers anymore, and to buy the store bought stuff. I had a soft spot in my heart for my pigs. Bobby is my step dad. My biological father died when i was 10. He was my best friend. We would ride our horses out to the crop fields. Sometimes we would sit under the oak tree and gather up corn, and shuck em' right their. His name was Jason. Beep. Beep. Beep. What was that god-for-saken beeping?

"rahhg. Mmm" who's there? I couldn't even speak. I felt someone grip my right hand. They squeezed and squeezed. I felt as if my hand was being amputated. My hands grew sweaty, not knowing who was holding my hand was scary. Beep. Beep. Could someone stop the beeps? The beeps became slower, and whoever was holding my hand, squeezed it tighter. Beep... Beep....soon the beeps were faint and were so slow, as if they weren't their.

"DOCTOR!!" The random stranger cradling my hand flung it to the side. And sprinted. Clack. Clack. The foot steps made its may to a complete stop. Whoosh. Was that a door? Where am i anyway? Doctor? Am i at the hospital? A fruity sent danced across my noes. Again, latex hovered over my skin and was being pressed on my left wrist. The beeping quickened and grew louder. Beep. Beep. They grew calm and repetitive. A smooth motion.

"She will be fine. Dr. Shemingdesh will be right in with the test. Please wait patiently. Thank you."
