Chapter 5 - The Raid

A few days after the hostage,in saturday,was the day of the raid.Looks like I'll have a lot of kills.The address was outside Claymore City,their hideout was at the other town ckborough City. It was a nice place,but Claymore was kinda bigger than this one. The address is in an abandoned factory,where the others are. I went shadow and went to the factory.

As I arrived at the factory,before turning back to human,I saw 2 guards outside.I went back to human mode and they noticed me walking slowly towards them.

"Hey,you! This is off limits,shady piece of crap!" One of the guards shouted.

I stopped walking then I shot him. "HEY!" The other one shouted as he point his gun at me.

"Nah." I said as I shot him. I heard the commotion inside,one of them said "Get ready!".

They expected me.I barged in and quickly went shadow mode.
"Huh? Where'd he go?" One of the men said.
I observed how many they were. They were about 14 of them. I went back to human behind a machine to switch my Syke into automatic,then I rolled out and shot all of them down.

"NOPE!" I said.
More men came,then I shot them down.

Even more men came,then I shot them down...

Bla,bla,bla. Killstreak.
As I reached the boss's office,I barged in and shot "him".

I went closer and realized that it was a decoy,it's a copy of him made in wax. A statue of course.

I decided to go back home. I went shadow mode and left the place.

In Monday,of course it's back to school,again...

As I arrived at school and Haley ran to me. "Kleo!" She said happily.

"Hey! How was the hangout?" I asked.

"Uhhh...It was fun but it didn't start well." she replied.

We went to class and talked about it.

"So,the mystery sniper's name is Renji?" I asked.

"That's what he painted at the restaurant." she replied.

"Ah."

"He's everywhere in the news,Kleo...I'm starting to be afraid."

"Why be afraid when he only kills murderers,robbers and rapists?"

"I'm not that into...Watching them die."
She started telling me something she had done before.
"Back when I was Grade 4,me and my mom were just walking home then suddenly a robber tries to take my mom's bag but she held tight to the bag. The robber pulled out a gun and my mom kicked it away. He began choking my mom and pushing her away. He told me to give him his gun back,I just walked back slowly away from him. He got angry and shouted at me the same thing,he pulled out a knife then I shot him at the chest by accident. He was still alive then he started running and then I shot his head because I was too afraid.

I let go of the gun and my mom carried me home." she explained. "That incident,gave me the fear of guns."

I went silent for a few moments then she held my hand.

"Don't tell anyone about this ok?" she said.

"Okay..." I replied.

She looked at my hand and she let go quickly and starting blushing.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"N-n-nothing!" she replied nervously while trying to cover her face.
"Come on,just tell me."

"What? T-that's unfair! I already told you a secret,tell me yours!"
I was shocked to hear her say that,but I just got the right thing to say.

"Okay...You have to come with me to a private place first..." I said.

"Okay!" she replied.

We went to an empty hallway and I blushed...
"Now you're blushing..." she said.
"Y-yeah..." I replied. "Before I tell you my secret,I just have one question."
"Ask away."
"Why were you blushing?" I asked with a smile.

She blushed more and was just silent.
"Fine,I'll just tell you my secret." I said.

I went closer and my heart started to beat faster.
"I admire you..." I said.

She was silent  but was blushing harder...

"You admire me?" she asked.
"Yes..." I answered.

"I know you're just saying that so it wouldn't be embarrassing for you."
"Uhh..."

"I love you too,Kleo." she says with a smile.

We were about to kiss but someone called Haley's attention.
"Haley,where are you!?" the person called.

She went to us and saw us at the hallway,we quickly stepped away from each other.

"I've been looking everywhere for you,come on! The other girls are looking for you!" she said. "And Kleo,Jordan is looking for you to.

"Okay." I replied.
She went ahead and me and Haley held hands and went back to class.
