Jean keeled on the stone floor of the building she first got cursed in. She felt defeated. All day she had been trapped in her own body, watching as her twisted hands ripped at flesh. And this was the first day. She couldn't know how long this would last. Maybe to the end of her days. No, scratch that: Probably to the end of her days.

And people had seen her. That one boy from school had been in the park when she was attacking. What was his name? Something with a V. Valentine? She didn't know. Everything was so blurry. Memories were fading. Her vision was so clouded, or perhaps it was just her tears welling up.

This felt like a sick horror story come to life. Why her, of all people? Well, of course her, yes. Somorla had... that incident with her. But Somorla? A witch? Sure, she had been a psychopath, but who knew she could cast such a terribly powerful and powerfully terrible curse? It made Jean question who else she knew that may or may not be a being of fantastic sorts.

She felt so lost. So betrayed, so confused, so trapped. She had this curse, and apparently it only worked during the day. During the night, she was sent back to this place, and apparently was back to normal. She didn't feel like she had been racing around all day and then turned into herself again, she felt like she had woken from a deep sleep. One that she could clearly see her nightmares. That's what this situation seemed to be, at least so far. What could she do? She couldn't ask to be contained. "Oh yes, I'm Jean Amissum, and someone put this curse on me that makes me turn into a wild demon during the day that was spotted ripping people apart and that will probably be able to rip
through your walls, too. Can you lock me in a cell while I figure this out?" That would totally work (not).

She needed to figure out something. Maybe someone could help her. The V kid. He was smart, right? And sorta nice. Maybe he could help.
