Author's Note
Hey all! This is my first story I'm posting up on Wattpad! I originally wrote this for a friend who asked me to write a scenario where her and her crush were dating. Honestly, this metaphorically exploded out of my head and on to Notes. It was crazy, I couldn't stop typing until the last remnants were out of my head and on Notes. Well I hope you enjoy! And please comment and vote! Comments and votes are like soul food to a writer!

Another boring sixth period in science. Both Mary and Jessica were working hard at the task set before them, not even bothering to glance at the messages that I had been sending them.
I sighed.
It was a hot Friday afternoon and all I wanted to do was go home. I couldn't be stuffed to do the twelve questions about Newton's damn Laws right at that moment and it wasn't like I had that much homework to do tonight.
Suddenly, a message popped onto my iPad screen. Turn around, it read.
I quickly swivelled my head around to see a very handsome boy doing some hilarious stunts with his pens at the back of the classroom without Mr Lee noticing. Smothering a giggle, I tried to roll my eyes but he saw through it to my barely contained laughter.
He grinned a very boyish grin and returned to his work.
I returned back to my work too, smiling. He always knew exactly what I needed when I needed it. When I was depressed about my weight, he became my sun and shone through the dark clouds of depression with encouraging words and caresses. When my dog died and I was crying all week about it, he came to me and wiped away my tears with tenderness and compassion. When I was loopy during my time of the month, he laughed and joined my crazy antics.
He was truly a gentleman, a Prince Charming out of all the peasants. But sometimes, even Prince Charming needed help.
When he was bullied for standing up for another student, I stood next to him and fought alongside him. When he was badly hurt during sport, I was there with a soothing voice and support. When he was angry about the injustice done to one of his friends, I came to him with calm, rational words and a solution to stop it.
It was truly incredible how well we worked together.
The whole year level was shocked when we became a couple. I don't blame them, because even I was surprised that it happened. We were from totally different social standings; popular and not-so-popular, and yet we are the longest standing couple in the entire year level!
I can't even believe that six months have already passed!
The bell rang to signify the end of school. The students hastily packed up their books and streamed out the door. Mary, Jessica and I followed suit.
Outside the door, with his bag on one shoulder and the gentle smile that he reserved just for me, was my wonderful boyfriend. I smiled in return.
Jessica, who usually walked out of the building at a break-neck pace, stopped and had this weird goofy grin on her face, her messy hair making her grin look even more goofier. Mary was next to her, just shaking her head in amazement as I laced my fingers between his and walked out the building, proudly showing the world our relationship.
For he was my prince.
And I was his girl.
