CHAPTER TWO

NIALL'S POV

I watched as my mate opened up his arms to her and she gladly took them, hugging hin tightly.  he was probably her boyfriend.  I started to walk away when Zayn called me, "Niall, could you stay with her while i get ready since your already ready?" "Yeah, I guess so" I replyed.  I wasnt sure what to do while he lead her into a room and told her who i was and that i was going to look after her while he goes and gets ready.  I walked into the room and sat down on the couch next to her.  she looked at me and said "I'm sorry for how i acted earlier, niall, I was just scared because i didnt recodnize you." "you dont have to be sorry" I said.  Then she looked shocked like she just remembered something.  she then said Oh, I'm sorry I forgot that you dont know me, my name is Sara, Sara Malik."  She held out her hand and i shook it. Wait! So she wasnt dating Zayn!?!?  "You're Zayn's sister?"  she nodded and said "Yeah, Zayn's older that me by a year."  I nod and ask "Why were you so scared in the hallway?"  She looked awaay avoiding my gaze and said "Will you promise you wont tell anyone?"  I nodded and she continued.  "Well, i had this boyfriend a little while back and at first he was really sweet.  But then he started hitting me and that went on for quite a while.  One day I went to the park and he tried to rape me in the back of his van until Zayn came and saved me.  Now I'm scared of anyone who picks me up or raises their hands at me because I scared they will hit me and try to rape me like my ex-boyfriend used to do."  She finnished and hugged her knees while i sat there dumbfounded at why someone would want to do that to her.  I dont know what came over me but I pulled her onto my lap and she started crying onto my shoulder.  A few minutes later Zayn came into the room and quietly lifted his sister off of me.  He put her on the couch and i gave him a questioning look which he returned a point to Sara.  She must have fallen asleep because she was passed out on the couch.  I went up onto the stage and preformed for the third time with the boys.  I cant believe how quickly I have gotten close to them.  They feel like my brothers.  I walked back to Sara's room and was relieved to see that she was still asleep.  Louis walked up and was about to shout hello when i smacked my hand over his mouth and pointed to Sara.  He nodded and walked away.  That is one strange boy.  I sat with Sara while the boys went and got lunch.  I was staring at the wall when someone tapped my shoulder.  I jumped so high that I thought I was going to hit my head on the low ceiling.  Sara burst out laughing and i realized it was her who poked me.  she laughed for a few more minutes while i tried to slow my breathing.  Zayn finaly came back and gave me my lunch, which I proudly took and ate a huge bite out of it.  She looked amazed.  Zayn whispered something in Sara's ear and she looked at me and laughed.  I knew they were talking about me so i looked down and blushed.  "It's nothing bad Niall, All he told me was that you guys had to go shopping like every other week because you eat so much." she said. i looked up at her and smiled, "It's true!!!"  She laughed and I finnished eating.
