Dean and roman are both in child care they had never really talked to each other before roman was quiet and kept to himself not liking being with any of the other kids there and dean had alot of troubles and struggled with trusting people and letting people close to him and offen got picked on by the older kids there roman was 8 and dean was only 5 was
There was a family here looking round ready to foster or adopte
Lily and Tony already have an adopted son seth who's 7 now they adopted seth when he was just 3 years old as they were looking round lily and Tony seen roman in the corner and asked about him while seth just looked around
Once lily and Tony had heard about roman and how his parents had died in a car crash 6 months ago but it also came clear that he hadnt been getting looked after for a while before his parents deaths so was brought here
as they were taken over to him seth seen dean on the other side of the room in the corner knees up to his chest and shaking slightly he looked to were his mom and dad had gone over to roman then back to dean he slowly walked towards dean and sat down in front of him dean jumped looking at him with a terrified look in his eyes "Are you ok" seth asked looking worried for the younger boy one of the staff members came over and knelt down next to seth "you feeling ok dean" she asked looking at the younger boy dean shook his head but wouldn't let her touch him "dean it's ok remember I won't hurt you" she said dean just let out alittle sob putting his head in his knees
"Why won't he let you help him" seth asked the lady who stood up "follow me" she said he got looking at dean once more before following the girl "his very scared about letting people touch him he had be very badly treated at home and has grown to fear people touching him or being too close to him" the lady said "how long has he been here" seth asked "Just over a year now poor kid" she said seth looked over towards dean again then over to his parents he walked over to them and tapped his dad on the leg he look down and seth "whats up buddy" he asked seth pointed over to dean his dad looked over noticing straight away how scared the boy looked he looked at his wife who was talking to roman who was smiling up at her he turned to Tina who was the stuff member who told them about roman and asked about the kid seth had been pointing too not yet knowing the kids name "that's dean his been here for just over a year now poor kid struggles with letting people close to him or touch him he was brought in to us by a young lady who had heard crying and had found him in his house by himself he was very ill when he was brought in to us" she said sadly
"Where were his mom and dad" he asked shocked "they left him there they didn't look after him he was very under weight and dehydrated when he came here we had got him to the hospital straight away he was in there for a few weeks he had a bad chest infection and after count less tests there was signs of sexual assault he also has alot of scars mostly on his back he also had a few on his wrist where it had been made clear that handcuffs had coursed" she said Tony was in complete shock
"H-how old is he" he asked "5" she said he was completely horrified at that "wow" he said seth was still looking over at dean "you have any idea where his parents are" he asked her "no we couldn't find any record of his parents" she said "mind if we go over" he asked "we can try as I said his scared of people being to close to him and doesn't like bring touched especially by men" she said Tony nodded taking seth's hand as seth wanted to come too they slowly went to dean who still had his hand in his knees they knelt down by him but not to close "Dean hun" Tina said dean looked up but quickly put his head back down when he saw seth and Tony and let out a sob "dean it's ok hunny these people are looking to adopt there very nice they ain't gonna hurt you" she said dean didn't lift his head just let out another sob shaking alittle "dean" seth wispered "it's ok my dad won't hurt you" he wispered getting alittle closer to dean dean looked up a little tears were streaming down his cheeks "it's ok" Tina said he looked up alittle more looking completely terrified "hey there my names Tony and this is my son seth" Tony said dean shivered alittle when Tony spoke dean looked at Tina and she nodded showing him it was ok they would hurt him he looked over at Tony and seth tears still going down his cheeks Tony reached out slowing but it still made dean flinch "it's ok" Tony said in a soft voice before putting his hand on dean's cheek carefully then wiping away his tears witch only made more tears fall Tina was alittle shocked that dean didn't pull away or start screaming like he had with past families that had been here in the past and had gone over to him
"There we go it's ok" Tony said looking in to dean's watery eyes dean was still slightly shaking
Lily looked round looking for her husband and son while she was still sitting with roman playing with a few toys she had fallen in love with roman she then spotted them with Tina and another kid who looked like he was crying Tony hand on his cheek Tina had alittle bit of a shocked look on her face with she found odd "that's dean" roman said quietly seeing where lily was looking "you two friends" lily asked roman shook his head "he doesn't normally let people near him or touch him" roman said "how come" she asked "don't know never asked" he said "come on" she said standing up roman stood and followed her over towards dean who looked alittle panicked when he spotted them coming over too there were too much people for dean to handle he let out alittle cry and tried to move "hey hey shh it's ok dean this is my wife seth mom" Tony said reaching out for dean again but dean flinched away from the touch letting out a terrified little sound "dean it's ok hun" Tina said "t-to.....m-many" dean chocked out in a sob it's the first time Tony and seth had heard dean say something "you want to go to your room for 5 minutes to calm down then try this again" she asked dean hesitated before nodding alittle "ok come on then" she said dean stood on shaking legs "we'll be back in a few minutes if you wanna take roman with you and wait in the family room ill bring dean down once his calm" Tina said they nodded Tony took seth's hand who didn't wanna move and roman followed them to the family room and waited whole dean followed Tina to his room once inside he went straight over to his bed curling up on it crying she went over sitting on the side of the bed she slowly reached out to dean rubbing his arm he flinched alittle "shhh it's ok hun" she wispered trying to calm him down after a few minutes dean stopped crying and calmed down "you wanna try again" Tina asked dean looked at her before nodded Slightly "come on then hun" she said getting up he stood but then did something that shocked her he reached out very hesitantly before grabbing her hand holding it tightly she held back and gave him a smile "you'll be ok if at any moment you feel it's too much just let me know and we'll come back here ok" she said dean nodded They slowly walked down and over to the family meeting room and went in seth and roman were playing with a few toys in the room while Tony and lily where sitting on the sofa talking quietly all of them turned when they heard the door open dean gripped tina's hand tighter moving slightly behind her when the door closed behind them the noise made dean jump
Tony had filled lily in about what he was told about dean they stayed in the family room for about half an hour both lily and Tony had bonded with roman well and roman seemed happy seth had also bonded well with roman dean was very quiet and didn't talk or play with seth and roman he had let tony touch him again and even allowed lily to hug him before asking Tina if he could go back to his room she nodded before telling everyone else she would be back she took dean up to his room he curled up on his bed again "you did good today dean im proud of you" she said before leaving the room and going back to the family room while seth was playing with roman still she talked to Tony and lily who agreed to adopt both roman and dean they would be back tomorrow to sign the paper work alittle while later they said there goodbyes to roman and that they would see him tomorrow roman walked around with a smile for the rest of the day knowing tomorrow his gonna have a home and a family dean on the other hand stayed in his room for the rest of the day he had been given medication a while ago to help him sleep has he had had a panic attack Tina had stayed in his room with him she had told him about being picked up tomorrow afternoon to go to his new home his was very scared about that they are gonna get him seen by the doctor before he leaves as he is very prone to getting colds and infections unfortunately he gets them very easily so they wanna make sure his all good before they let him leave
he was asleep now after the medication finally kicked in Tina then went to check on roman as she's the one sorting out there adoptions it's her job to look after them he was in his room playing on his psp staff had got him and all the other kids got one too "you existed for tomorrow" she asked him he nodded smiling she smiled back at him "is dean existed" he asked knowing his getting adopted too "I think he is but his very nervous too" she said "im alittle nervous too" he said "it will be ok" she said "I know" he said once everyone had eaten and gone to there rooms to go to sleep dean started kicking off as he was unable to sleep again on of the staff finally got him to take his medicine to help him sleep better once he took it he finally fell in to a peaceful sleep
