Flower Child

Chapter One

I was walking on my way home from school when it all started.

I was carrying my books and thinking about what I would do for my reading project, when the jumped out at

me. I stopped dead in my tracks. I was scared. What did they want with me?

"Hey there twinky toes." Said Bryce.

Bryce was the school jock. The leader of the pack. The alpha.....

"Hey there twinky toes." I whispered.

"Whoa ho hooooo!" Said Bryce. "Looks like we got ourselves an instigator on our hands."

His friends all laughed. Insulting me under their breaths.

I didn't fully process what he just said. So I didn't reply.

"Oh what?" Asked Bryce with mock concern. "Twinky here, isn't gonna repeat that? No. Too stupid, yeah?"

"Please leave me alone." I said, tears building up in my eyes.

"You gonna cry about it, twinky. You gonna go home and tell your mommy on us?" Bryce said with mock

sweetness in his voice.

I didn't understand what he said. I kept quiet.

"Well go on!" Bryce said "Repeat what I said, since that's what you love to do."

The other boys all hummed in agreement, chuckling too.

"Go....on...love to...since....I..." I whispered shaking.

"Go on faggot!" He spatted.

All of a sudden he shoved me causing me to stumble backwards. I steadied myself.

"What? To scared to fight back, fag? Huh?!" He said again.

His time he shoved me to the ground. I fell hard on my back, grunting as I did. He picked me up my shirt
and punched me in the jaw. Blood rushed to my cheeks. Tears were streaming down my face.

"St...stop..pl-"

He lifted me up by my shirt and tossed me against the tree. Punching me again.

"Yeah? I bet you like that!" He growled, kneeing me in the stomach. Twice. Three times....four.

I grunted.

"Hey boys. Get over here and help me teach this faggot here that he doesn't deserve to live, and faggots
should go back to where they came from. Hell.!" He yelled.

All of a sudden pain shot through my body. And the next thing I saw was blackness....
