Three years later-----

Sighing as I stand in front of the double doors, my mind racing through many things that could go wrong on the best day of my life.

My wedding day.

"Are you ready?" My wedding planner, Ciara asked as I stood with my bouquet of flowers in my hands. I held them tight, hoping I wouldn't make a fool of myself by tripping or something.

When I hear music start to play, and the doors start to rattle, I straighten my posture and look straight ahead with a scared look on my face.

I walked down the isle by myself, considering the fact that neither Jason or I had a father.

I reached the bottom of the isle where Jason stepped down and grabbed my hand to bring me up on the top step.

"Okay," the pastor of the church we are currently standing in spoke as everybody sat down, "today we come together in the marrying of Jason McCann and Emily Young."

Everyone gave two short claps, showing politeness. I looked out at the big crowd that my mom had thrown together and gulped down a lump in my throat. I looked back at Jason and as he looked in my eyes, he could tell I was becoming nauseous from all of the stares.

He nodded his head at me and grabbed my hand, considering he couldn't show me any other affection at the moment.

"As you two had requested, this will be a short ceremony," pastor Nick smiled at us, "shall we get started?"

Nodding our heads, we listen real close to what he has to say.

"Throughout the four years these two have been together, and had three kids, each and every one of you have watched their love grow. As it says in the bible, once you are to marry, you are to remain in love with that person for the rest of your life because they are the love of your life and that is why you married them. We have come together to marry these two for the rest of their life's."

"Jason, please turn to Emily and repeat after me," Pastor Nick smiled and cleared his throat as Jason did so, "I."

"I," Jason copied.

"Jason McCann."

"Jason McCann," he looked in my eyes and grabbed my hands in his.

"Take Emily Young," Pastor Nick watched us with a smile on his face.

"Take Emily Young."

"To be my," Pastor Nick continued.

"To be my," Jason spoke with more confidence as his eyes never left mine.

"Lawfully wedded wife," Pastor Nick spoke the last words and so did Jason right after him.

"Jason," Pastor Nick continued, "will you love her in sickness and in health, for rich or for poor as long as you both shall live?"

"I will," Jason nodded his head.

"Emily," Pastor Nick turned towards me, "repeat after me."

Nodding my head, I let go of one of Jason's hand to swipe the hair out of my face.

"I," he started.

"I," my shaky and strained voice repeated.

"Emily Young."

"Emily Young," I smiled at my soon to be different name.

"Take Jason McCann."

"Take Jason McCann," I whispered his name as I stared in his eyes.
