My throat tightened up and I raked my mind for ways to get out of this situation, but I was coming up blank. I turned slowly on my heels, to a person I had been hoping to avoid, but confrontation in this business is almost impossible.

He looked as unprepared to see me as I felt. His hair was longer slicked back, and he wore an all black ensemble. He looked tired and pale, no doubt from all the touring he'd been doing.

Our eyes met and my stomach turned. I wanted to run far, far away, cowardly as it may seem. He opened his mouth to speak to me, and I took a deep breath and prepared myself for the worst. But instead of a cheeky comment, all I got was a raspy, "Hello Taylor." He gave me a smile, a dimple showing.

I'm sure he still thought the simple had an affect on me (and well, it did, but I wasn't about to let him know that.) I had grown stronger than when we had first split. A charming smile could not make me break, fall back in his arms once more. I put on my most charming smile and in a sugary sweet voice purred, "Harry, it's great to see you."

We starred at each other, both taking in the others appearance. Oh, how we had changed from the love struck kids kissing on New Years Eve in Times Square.

Niall's eyes darted between the two of us, probably seeing if we were going to keep our cool or the whole room would explode from pure sexual tension.

In an infuriatingly charming accent, he stepped in between the two of us, breaking the intense eye contact we had going on. "Well my dear friends, this is an quite awkward situation, isn't it?

I blinked at the ground, realizing how long we had been looking at each other.
'Keep it together Taylor', I told myself.

"So," Harry's raspy voice broke me away from my thoughts.

He smirked, looking like a trademark asshole.

"You going to that after party? You can always hitch a ride with us."
