"Oh my god!" "What is it Larry?" I asked turning to see Larry carrying about three tubs on his back. "Kacey's shit is so heavy! It's like she pack the walls in her room too!" Kacey pasted Larry carrying two duffel bags with her. "It's great to have a personal slave whenever you want." Larry and Kacey have always had a rocky relationship. They're not dating but they are very close, that's really all I know, so its not uncommon for Larry to loss his temper when around her. "Screw this! You can carry your stuff the rest of the way!" Larry dropped two of the tubs and carried his to the transport ship. I walked in after Larry to see Delta sitting in the ship starring at his new set of armor he'll be getting in Bravo ship. Kacey walked in with her tubs and bags throwing then onto the cargo net above the seats. The ship picking us up was a standard cargo ship normally carrying troops and supplies from ship to ship or into battle. Just like what I was in when I was grabbed into the battle of Echons. The back of the ship is a 6 by 10 foot rectangular shape with 10 seats lining the wall five on each side and a rail in the center to side supplies down for quick fly-bys. The cockpit is rather small with only room for one pilot, the buttons, levers, and knobs are all randomly placed along a desk like panel and hologram screens with statuses of the ship lining the windshield. We all pilled in as the pilot called to me. "Zero! That it?" I walked to the cockpit passing through a doorway separating the two sections. "Yes sir, waiting for you." The pilot looked to three screens. "Final preparation complete, tank full, engine burning." I started to walk back to my seat. "On you!" I called out to the pilot.

The ship rose slowly and began to turn towards the hunger door. I could see Larry clenching tightly to his safety harness on the seat. Larry never liked flying, not after Delta took him for a fly during the battle of Nexus. Let's just say Delta really was not used to Larry and his insults around that time, but its been over 7 years now and the O.E.S.C hasn't see anymore of the Universal Republic since that battle so Larry shouldn't have to worry anymore... But he is still very paranoid. The ship began to gain speed as we got out to the open oblivion that we humans call space. We were pasting under the belly of the middle civilian ship then slowly rose to the right side of Bravo ship. The fleet is in some what of a V-shape with the Command ship in the front with Charlie and Delta on its back right and Bravo ship on its back left. The civilian ships stay in-between using the gunships as a shield. The transport passed through a thin transparent shield separating the hanger from the void of space. We slowly descended to the deck below. "Gamma on your feet!" I commanded grabbing my duffle bag and crate. We stood shoulder to shoulder as the bay door began to open. When to door closed we say 4 figures form from the bright light behind them, it was fire team Zulu. Larry saw Catherine out of the four first nudging Delta and pointing to her. Larry received a swift elbow to the gut making him lose his breath. "What's wrong with him?" Catherine asked kneeing to Larry. Delta looked to Larry sharply "I.. I hit a pole." "Damn straight you did." Catherine stood up smiling at Delta's comment. I walked to the leader of Zulu leaving my squad behind me, the leader of Zulu "Alpha" as hes called has always been both a good friend and challenge in my career as a Hellrunner. "Good to know your our tour guide." I said reaching out to shake his hand. "Zero? Man I haven't seen you since Echon. I mean I know we where getting a new squad but not you." He looked at me in a bit of shock. "Is that a bad thing?" "Not at all, I'm glad to know I'll have someone to talk to on that planet." Marcus, Zulu's heavy stepped out of line."Hey don't forget me!" Alpha smirked to Marcus "How could I? Your always up my ass." I laughed as Alpha looked back to me. "Ok, Cath you show Delta around, Keggs your with Larry, and Death with Ghost. I'll handle Zero." We clear?" Zulu looked to Alpha. "Yes sir!"

Alpha had taken me through the ship showing me all the basics like the Mess hall, Training/ Skirmish room, and so and so forth. We walked down a hall a little ways past the training room to the Leaders Circle which is like a coldasack or rooms housing some of the squad leaders. This helps make planning form a Skrimish much easier. There are other Leaders Circles but I can only do skrimishes with the other 4 leaders here for some reason. "So, you like?" Alpha asked as I swiped my key card to open the door. "It's exactly the same. Am I missing something here?" I walked in sitting at my new desk. "No, just being an ass." "Like always." Kacey walked in standing by the door. "Hey Alpha can you give Zero and I some privacy?" He started for the door winking at Kacey. "Hurry up before I shuve a boot up your ass." I looked at Kacey as the door closed. "So what's up?." Kacey walked to my bed to sit down. "Are you sure we are ready to be deployed?" She seems worried like she know something I didn't. "We still have a month before we are deployed. I have faith that we will be able to hold our own against who ever dares to stand in our way. Trust me. We will be fine." She looked up to me from her lap. "Ok I trust you." "Good now lets go eat I'm getting a bit hungry."
