Fever high was quite a large school, but that didnt hide the fact that there were multiple abandoned rooms; which brings us to where a short, black haired, pale boy stood. His eyes, almost ice blue but with sapphire swirls, were focused on the plaque that rested in the middle of the room 'Music/Dance room.' He shifted from foot to foot and clicked his tongue, making a small metal clang as the barbell piercing hit his teeth. It was obvious that he was contemplating going inside the abandoned room, but he didnt hesitate long before stepping inside; unaware that bright blue-grey eyes were watching him. His eyes brightened with emotion he usually hid as he layed his hand on the ivory piano keys. They were smooth, but didnt suit his taste all that well so he moved on to an older looking wooden acoustic guitar. He was tempted to test the theory that the doctors had and meeting somebody that didnt judge him for being mute made him more eager to speak. He timidly picked up the guitar and tested the chords, a smile tugging at his lips when the rich deep sound filled the air. Before he knew it a strong alto-tone filled the air as he played, spilling from his lips as if it were natural for him to use it.

"It's 3 in the morning

And I'm still not sleeping

Cause I am finally running your race

The mountains you've been climbing seem like they have steepened

Since I decided to pick up the pace

If the whole world told me I should disappear

Could I fall right next to you?

Just let me burn the night away

Oh, baby let me burn the night away

By thinking of the simple things you say to me

That get me through the day

You keep me wide awake

You keep me wide awake

So don't look back the hour glass is running empty

You've got me buried with your every move

Your fine line have me at a loss of memory

I'm right beside you in an empty room

If the whole world told me I should disappear

Could I fall right next to you?

Just let me burn the night away

Oh, baby let me burn the night away

By thinking of the simple things you say to me

That get me through the day

And it's so hard to catch your feelings

When you always run away

You keep me wide awake

You keep me wide awake

Your making it hard for me to just start

Over like we're new

Oh, the whole world told me I should disappear cause I'm fallling in love with you

Just let me burn the night away

Oh, baby let me burn the night away

By thinking of the simple things you say to me

That get me through the day

And it's so hard to catch your feelings

When you always run away

You keep me wide awake

You keep me wide awake"

He felt tears prick his eyes as he stopped singing. The song tugged at his heart even if he never felt the emotion that the singer was obviously feeling. Soft clapping filled the air and threw him off guard. When he turned he met Kyle's eyes and a blush stained his cheeks. Although he just met the boy his heart strained for his attention, his breath caught when he met Kyle's eyes. He was completely taken by this boy. "I like your voice. Even if you cant speak with it. Do you think. You could try talking to me?" He froze at Kyle's words. Its not that he didnt want to more of he didnt know if he could.
