Chapter 5

A few days later, I received something very light and thin in my mail box, I asked myself "I wonder what it could be?"

I quickly opened it and I saw two big words saying "THE VOICE", I paused for a minute and thought "what could this be?" "A letter that we were eliminated from the audition?" I didn't hesitate any longer before I opened the rest and first I saw was plane tickets.

I rushed back into the house and rang Kerry and Amanda to see where they were, so I could tell them as quick as possible since I was so excited that I was about to piss my pants with excitement.

They finally pick up my calls came here straight away when I told them I got something special from The Voice.

~Half an hour later~

When they arrived at my house I showed them what I had received and they had already started running and screaming around my house which felt like a earthquake was happening inside a house. So that night Amanda and Kerry stayed over for dinner and talked about how amazing this trip will be.

2 weeks later

Today was the day, the day we had to head off to Chongqing for our audition, The Voice. Our flight was at 7:15 am and we had to head off to the airport at 6:00 am.

Kerry, Amanda and I were so excited for this flight to chongqing, well because first we haven't been to chongqing and second we couldn't believe we actually got into the audition.

When we got a taxi to the airport we were basically sleeping throughout the ride to the airport since we had to wake up so early.

After about 30mins we had arrived at the airport, we got out luggage ready for check in which took forever luckily we came a bit early because we had to be 1 hour early before our flight.

We walked around the airport and found something to eat before we went through security to get to our gate which was gate 21. We waited at our gate before it was time to board the plane, we queue for boarding which took a few minutes to be able to get on the plane.
When we got on the plane we found our seats which was 14 a,b,c luckily we were seated all together so we weren't sitting with some stranger.
Our flight took roughly about 2hrs and 30 mins which was a reasonable amount of time. During out flight Kerry fell asleep while Amanda and I were watching some drama and listening to music.

Time skip

Time went by fast as we all had our own things to do, until we knew it plane had already landed and for us we were already getting our hand luggage to get off the plane. When we got off the plane we were so excited that we were actually in Chongqing because everyone said it was beautiful and amazing.

When we collected our luggage, we went past security and looked around to see who had to pick us up. Amanda walked out first and she yelled at us to hurry because she saw the sign that said our names so we hurried to the guy who had the sign in his hands. We ran up to him and he said " are you guys Amanda, Kerry and y/n that came from Shanghai for the voice auditions?" We said " yes we indeed are" and he took us to the nice car that was waiting for us.

When we got in the very nice quite fancy car, we all were just too busy looking outside the windows since it looked so beautiful. Our first thought was the city was so amazing and big, like we were speechless.

About 30 minutes later we had reached a fantastic place which we thought was our hotel but it was our apartment to stay at for the time remaining.
The driver then got us and our luggage off the car and gave us the key to the apartment.
